Beautiful, I bought this CD at the time...I also read in an article that there was a longer version of this song, which was about twice as long.

I thought of this song after hearing Rachel Holt's recent song "I Was Gonna Be" Posted a link to this song there; hoping and praying that both songs as well as others that promote life's sanctity will catch the fire of the Holy Spirit in many more souls to change and save lives! Of course, Phil's "Little Ones" has gotten more PR, and is also quite beautiful. God's blessings and all good to those who have 'survived'... Keep always telling your story. The world starves for it!!! ❤💙

Quietly You arrived Never forcing me to choose Bringing Your perfect light Into this sunless room of mine So make Your home inside my heart Fill this empty house of stone Make Your home inside my heart Let me dance in the brightness of Your throne Of Your throne Looking through stained windows I see a rose on the wall Thorns that draw blood from Your face I hear the agony of Your call to me So make Your home inside my heart Fill this empty house of stone Make Your home inside my heart Let me dance in the brightness of Your throne In the stillness of moonlight I am awakened by Your grace And the love that glistens In the tears on Your face for me So make Your home inside my heart Fill this empty house of stone Make Your home inside my heart Let me dance in the brightness Let me dance in the brightness of Your throne Of Your throne...

4:00 there was once an old video (2010's ish), long since deleted talking about the tower of babel, that used this segment as the intro, the video was titled "riddle of 2 eagles". the video was deleted before i could get the name of the song, and i have been searching for it for years, and by random chance, i just found it.

Lyrics: On Jordan's stormy banks I stand And cast a wishful eye To Canaan's fair and happy land Where my possessions lie All o'er those wide extended plains Shines one eternal day There God, the Son forever reigns And scatters night away I am bound, I am bound, I am bound for the promised land I am bound, I am bound, I am bound for the promised land No chilling wind nor poisonous breath Can reach that healthful shore Where sickness, sorrow, pain and death Are felt and feared no more [CHORUS] When shall I see that happy place And be forever blessed When shall I see my Father's face And in His bosom rest

This song was about a mother pregnant & she & others were planning to abort the baby. Somehow, God steps in & the baby places its trust in God to save its life. The baby survives - that is why this song is called “The Survivor”.

Went to a concert in Peoria, Ill for years that moved to Bushnell, Ill called Cornerstone. Helped these guys set up for a few years along with Believer, Tourniquet, The Crucified and a host of others. This brings back memories of those concert days when I volunteered and got to see great shows, got fed and got backstage passes too. Got to work and get paid from learning all about stage craft and went on to do great shows.

Crying for joy now! Praise Almighty God for turning the hearts of those who still have hearts to OVERTURN the Black Man’s evil opinion that invented a constitutional protection for the highest form of Satan worship - the sanctioned slaughter, immolation, and dismemberment of the voiceless innocents. We may still feel the holy lash of His discipline, but please, Almighty and Merciful God, may it fall in such a way and upon those states that legislate such grievous error into law. Rejoicing with my fellow survivors! Prob 24:10-11. Will He who weighs the hearts not know it?

Hey everyone, great reading everyone's comments. Hoping to be working on a new Iona Live Albums box set in 2022. In the meantime I've just released my latest solo album 'To The Far Away', which features my Iona band mates Frank van Essen, Troy Donockley and Martin Nolan. If you like Inside my Heart, I think you'll like the material on my new album. Here's the link to the promo. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gp6bnWZsqdqSmrM
