Ahh.. Great! Why didn't I see this first!! This is a proper mesh pattern.. I've started a mesh style top and each row is a different stich from single crochet to double trebble, looks ok but. I will do your one next! hmm so If I chain more hey will be slightly larger, the look I was looking for... x

How do you increase and decrease the mesh pattern?
@CTCDburp
@CTCDburp 7 ай бұрын
Don't know about increasing but at the end you have to do chain 1 and double crochet in the last stitch and then start your second row with chain 2 and slip stitch then continue doing chain 3 and slip stitch for decrease.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but maybe working 2 chains in a single loop you've created from the chains before could maybeee increase the pattern. Guess I'll have to test it out soon :)

Been doing this stitch to make Chain Mail. Is there any way to stop it from developing a curve along the foundation?

Great stich! Love the two-way stretch and it was so easy once I got the hang of doing a slip stitch. My fingers kept wanting to do a single crochet, I haven't been crocheting long and this is the first pattern that used a slip stitch. Thank you for posting.

Hi, love your scarf! If I wanted to make it slightly wider, does the starting chain just have to be an odd number? Thank you!

Thank you so much for this easy tutorial!! How do you increase stitches in rows? And if you were to do 4 chains or 5 chains instead of 3, what multiples of chains do you need as your foundation ?

;; super adorable. I had a ton of zucchini cakes and I ended up making some mesh shawls out of them. But this looks awesome with that color scheme.

Hi- a great question! I had never tried mesh stitch in a triangle- but after some fiddling around I worked it out this afternoon. I’ve just got a bit of editing and I’ll put up the how to tutorial (it’s a guide not a formal pattern though). A quick cut of it is over on IG. Hope this all helps!

When I first taught myself to crochet this is the stitch I did first. My husband's aunt said it wasn't crochet. I guess she was wrong. I hate it when people try to discourage you when learning. 😧 glad KZbinrs make projects with stitch. Great for summer tops and beach bags. Thanks for posting your video 💖

Ah! This explains it. I watched a tutorial from someone else but I was confused as to where to put the two double crochets at the end of each row and it started looking a bit wonky. I definitely felt like I was doing something wrong. You explained and showed where it goes, so I feel like I can continue with confidence now! I started crocheting two-three months ago and just finished a 60 x 60 C2C blanket and I feel this stitch is a good step up. I'll be making a scarf for myself. Thank you for the easy to understand tutorial!

@@thetwistingtwine Have you eventually found out how that would work? :) I've been wanting to replicate the look of chainmail for a headpiece and this stich is probably the closest I could get haha. Maybe with a magic circle and increasing a lot... I'm not very skilled with making patterns 😅
