Obviously, a part of the audience gave Remedios Amaya a real warm round of applause. Flamenco belongs to the cultural heritage of Europe. The mix with modern arrangements uplifted the song, and while the musicians did their very best, Remedios delivered a inspired and passionate performance with her haunting raw voice. Such a shame that almost all the jurys missed the opportunity to award the spanish artist the way she deserved.
