in every comic movie, is it just me or do they just make all the suits really dark and mettalic?

Cap man of steel is the only good superman movie, Besides The DC animated tv shows from the 90s - 2000s are the only good superman based content.

I think a game inspired by Doom would work well. It'd be first person with a bunch of ranged attacks like throwing cars or rocks, performing a clap, throwing enemies and unleashing gamma radiation along side melee attacks like punches, kicks and super long jumps. The game would of course have finishers like Doom and would include a mechanic where you can use the halves of a defeated enemy robot or car as boxing gloves. A charge and a parry/block would also be interesting moves that could be added to the game.

Yah so No Way Home actually takes the plot from a Spider Man comic and its not overrated. No Way Home smacks
@parkerross4796 күн бұрын
That’s fair from someone younger but those of us who grew up on these older spider men felt good seeing them one last time interacting with the new generation. They got to leave their mark on the MCU and that feels good to us

When you're in battle, simple is the best and effective. Making a shield for defence is far better than making a giant breathing dragon midfight. It all depends on how fast they can create their constructs. This ofcourse is just my two cents.

Something that has to be realized is the difference between Green Lantern powers in the comics and in extended media. In movies, TV Shows, and video games, a Green Lantern can fly, shoot lasers, and create any object with the limit being their imagination. In the comics, a Green Lantern ring is effectively a wish-granting machine. It can do _anything_ with the limit of the user's _willpower_ . If the user has a typical amount of willpower, they can still do some fun stuff, but you don’t get acees to the crazy powers unless you're someone like Hal, Kyle, or John. So while you CAN make constructs, how large, compliacted, creative, and powerful is determined by how strong the user's will is. And if you have a strong enough will where you can make Superman+Godzilla+Optimus Prime while fighting SniglSnagl, Eater of Worlds, why wouldn’t you instead just use that wish-granting power to make an anti-SniglSnagl laser? Or a prison that will very specifically contain SniglSnagl 100% of the time? Or just make it so SniglSnagl is somewhere else? Kyle in the comics usually still creates constructs due to, as you said, his background as an artist, and thus his fights are often the most fun to read. John, meanwhile, is a soldier. He creates reliable tools and reuses practiced strategies to come out on top. If he's not confident he can wish something away, he'll try to get the drop on it, knowing that all his willpower focused into one big blast is going to be a lot stronger and, for him, more effective than making complicated constructs to assist him. Hal is the out-of-the-box thinker. If he's not strong enough to teleport SniglSnagl to another universe, he'll see if he could instead just teleport SniglSnagl's lungs. Problem solved. Or change his taste buds so worlds and living creatures don't appeal to him anymore. Or alter the hard value of the planck length so that there's technically an infinite distance between SniglSnagl's attacks and himself. That said, they can all still MAKE constructs. And with unlimited will, it's usually pretty cool, like when Hal created the _entire_ rest of the Green Lantern Corps, complete with working power rings, to fight a guy. But why would you when you have a wishing machine that let’s you defeat everyone in ways that are so much easier? But that becomes a problem once you bring these characters into anything but a comic book. In a comic, you can always raise or lower a character's willpower as needed. Or just throw them against beings so obscenely powerful that even Kyle and Hal together will struggle. But that doesn't work in a team-based cartoon where other characters have defined limits. In a video game, how do you program in "wish machine" and have it still be fun? In a movie, how do you create conflict? So instead, pretty much all external media just distills the powers down to flight, lasers, superhuman stats, and construct creation. But then they keep the habits from the comics. So John only uses lasers and forcefields, which now doesn’t make sense, and Hal uses typical contructs and a wild one every so often, which doesn’t make sense. And poor Kyle Rayner hasn’t even been in enough outside media to get similarly-boiled-down yet. To sum up: Comic Book Green Lanterns: Absurdly overpowered but with interesting and regularly adjustable limits Extended Media Green Lanterns: Slightly overpowered, no limits, but the writers all checked their brains at the door. so basically what im saying is we need an actual good green lantern show you cowards
