h1m48 - the guy is referring at Trump :)))))) He doesn't know him personally, he says.... but he feels a lot of negative things against him. The talker, as i see it, is a retired gentleman, and has nothing much to do with his time.......always finding himself in the same circumstances over and over, day after day,..so recently, "finally", he decided to feel some hate towards someone he has no control of whatsoever, so much so that it consumes him, since he brings it up in this meeting. Pretty sad, but a cry for help, indeed. A way to get out of this toxicity, in his case, would be to expand his horizons and find his other "identities": dear sir (six years too late), you're not just a TV watcher/spectator of Trump. You're also a husband, a grand-father, a former doctor (or whatever your former job was), a best friend to someone, etc etc. You can focus your attention and energy to that/those who truly matter in your life. You can be all those other identities that do you good. :) I learned about this identity thing in one of my HR Management courses, some years ago, and I will never forget it. It helps to keep a distance and not get involved too much in things; so much so that we allow them consume us even though we know we have no control over those things/people. When we see others not only as our colleagues, but also as mothers, someone's son, etc etc, it helps us treat them better and understand them better if, let's say, they come up with problems of any sort: being late, being upset, being too happy, feeling overwhelmed, etc.

Funny how she says she has doubt about scientists looking into meditation. The reason I know about her is one of her student, Amishi Jha, is a neuro scientist researcher who brings into light what mindfulness meditation does to the brain. Thanks to Dr Jha, I discovered the biological benefits of meditation (through a TedTalk, amongst other) and even better, I discovered Mme Salzberg who is a wonderful teacher

Incongruencia, es una persona con un sobrepeso mórbido lo cual solo refleja la incoherencia en su práctica de mindfulness

With all due respect, I find it puzzling that Sharon Salzberg is so overweight. Unless she has some sort of Physiological condition that makes her metabolism to not work well, I just cannot understand how somebody who teaches mindfulness and self-love could be abusing her system like that (assuming, that is to say, that she is overweight because she cannot stop eating the wrong kinds of food)

Yeah, I was pretty surprised when I first saw her after having only heard her voice on podcasts. Especially if you're eating a plant based diet (idk if she does or not) i don't know how you can become so overweight

Totalmente estoy de acuerdo es una incongruencia ya que el Mindfulness te ayuda a controlar tus niveles de cortisol , inflamación etc.
