The GX1 sole is slippery as hell,funny because it is used in water resistant shoes.The Original TrueSense GO1 is by far the best and most grippy outer sole I ever had in a shoe...

Oh, wow. I guess that GO1 has that good spongy material which makes it grippier. Thanks for letting everyone know!

Hello. I think you will have to check online or the shops around you to find the right hiking boots for you. When you go hiking alone, if you're not trained in outdoor survival, just make sure you know the area you are going in is well-marked and safe.

@@143kyla so sorry I live in the UK and my summer clothes and sandals are away for the winter lol. However, if you do a search for Tirra by Teva, you might find what you are looking for. I also have a longer video with sandals 2024 where you can see more of the features close up.

Hi Nicolette. I have never tried Belenka! I do know that when I was buying Groundies, they were designed in Germany and handmade in Portugal.

Would you rather have eastern european 40+Celsius scorching hellis summer like we do? No cloud cover, no rain for months...😢 do you really want that? You would really miss this weathet and green forest.😢

Yes, I completely agree. I used to live in California, and we used to have wildfires sometimes for six months with smoke in the air. Some days it was dangerous to go outside because of the smoke levels. Sorry to hear what you are experiencing 😢Any type of extreme is not good, and for sure climate is out of balance now. However, I do notice the impact on mood here when it is dark for so much of the year. I understand why there are so many goths here 😂

Oh yeah. And the footbed underneath that as well! Now that I've injured my feet from barefoot shoes, all those elements are more important than ever before. I used to not notice these things at all! Hope your feet are feeling great these days :-)

@@claritywellnesscoaching768Am I too old to try barefoot shoes? I'm 40 years old.
@claritywellnesscoaching768
@claritywellnesscoaching768 5 ай бұрын
@@joseoctaviomorenorodriguez9541 it is really an individual thing. For me, I found that I spent so much time walking and standing on really hard concrete or uneven pavement here in England now, so I ended up injuring my feet. Also, it is quite cold here in the winter, so I found I need more padding and warmth for my after work walks. Now, the only place I would wear barefoot shoes would be on pretty flat natural ground but if it's warm enough, I probably would rather actually go barefoot :-) the problem is I didn't really get injured until two years into it, but now I regret having done it because I need more support and cushioning than ever before. My feet are just not back to normal now. The only thing from it that I like is having wide to boxes, so now I try to find traditional shoes that have this feature. I also found in Mike's experiments that overly cushioned shoes aren't good as I mentioned in my video as my feet can't feel where they are in space or in relation to the ground rather :-) I have a longer video on barefoot shoes that you might want to check out with all the different features to think about.

I would buy a pair of Groundies shoes, but they are way too narrow in the forefoot! Too many of these zero drop minimalist shoe makers simply compromise the potential of their shoes to increase sale volume!
@claritywellnesscoaching768
@claritywellnesscoaching768 10 ай бұрын
Yes, a lot of people find that about Groundies. Luckily, my feet are not overly wide in the toes. The thing is you don’t want to have shoes that are way too wide like if it’s cold out when your feet are smaller. Because then you won’t have as much stability inside the shoe. Also depends on the model, and even the same model with a different sole can have a different with as you can see by the two different types of Liverpool Boots on the right side. Just difficult when you can’t easily try them on and return.

Groundies shape is far too narrow in the toes. I got a pair once and was shocked how narrow. Immediately returned.

@claritywellnesscoaching768 10 ай бұрын
I found it really depends on the model. Even the same model with a different sole can have a different width in the toes I have found. The olive green Liverpool boots in this video I found quite generous. But, everybody’s feet are different! Hope you found something that works for you. :-)

I own a pair of Milano, with GS1. Very versatile, neither sporty neither hiking look, they are just good for every day. Just got a hole so now looking at my next pair. Never had the Berlin, but as you said, not available. Might call them to check whether or not they are going to be released again!

I’m so sorry I haven’t seen this until now. Yes, I was thinking of contacting them and asking them if they would re-release a popular model like that. I guess we will see how Groundies does with their whole bankruptcy, restructuring process. I think they have super limited stock at the moment…Milano look soft and supple maybe? Berlin might feel a bit stiffer, but I like a bit of support.

@@nicolette3436 they last long, i was actually surprised how long they last considering the thin outsole. I had an issue with the laces though, and replaced them with elastic laces, as the original one were painful on my foot while walking (the upper leather is thin).
