I really love the construction industry and see how much potential there is, my longterm goal is to own my own business that can possibly function with out me. My plan is to first work for a successful home remodeling company to get a good understanding of the different trades, then go for my GC license. My next goal is to work as a project manager and part time in sales to learn as much as I can on the business end. I strongly believe that this will provide with a good understanding and the skills needed to start my own construction business. At the the end of the day I am still a 20 year old and this goal may sound delusional so I hope you may guide me and give me advice on what you think the most ideal and efficient path to take on becoming a construction business owner. I would also like to know if you see value in the formal schooling route (4 year bachelors in construction management) or simply working my way to my goal. Ok… 2yrs later the info in the video is dated. Even major corporations add their social media info to their advertising. Websites are almost of things of the past, and phone# is way more important for point of contact then websites. The gentlemen making this video, seems very educated. But he’s off base on a lot of key points. Tags lines are nice, but your wrap should have some of the important key facts about what service your company provides. Simple is for sure always better. But KEY information is essential

Hey man, great video! I know it's a little old, but on the phone number thing...I have a number that's, in the example of Lawcorp that you had, (area code) ###-LAWCORP. I did that for obvious reasons. At the very least, it's easy to remember and google, and then see my website, socials, google etc ratings. I'm getting ready to wrap my truck and want to include the phone number in large/bold. But I was very drawn into your video at 2:38 that said "don't prioritize what's 'cool' over what your client wants" with the truck picture. So I want to get a more unbiased opinion on that.

Where do you find competent designers? We hired multiple ad companies are marketing groups all where at a yellow pages level… and we have been forced to do our own design work which is 10x better but not good enough
