Have you had any issues with the legs being unstable or wobbly because of the hinges? I’m trying to make something similar

I have the same saw but mine won’t go up or down and as I turn the handle it just spins and spins but won’t raise or lower . Why?

Is batt insulation required as well between the joist, it looks like you didn’t do that step. Wondering if I need to add insulation as well …

Second time watching your video. Love it. Strongly considering going with Akribis. I know you showed the drill hook briefly but that is a feature I’m really interested in and I haven’t been able to find any videos that show how well it really works. It’s seems like something no one else is doing and if it is really secure it might seal the deal for me. Any chance you could make a short video showing how much moving around it can handle without the drill falling out?

Yes, you absolutely should, and you should give us the blueprint, a list of materials, and film the project because I want one too! 😂

Dang, only showed a 3 second clip of actually using it. I nearly clicked off when you said you had it for a year because you were afraid.... of the dark or something :D But I stuck around, and still no more footage of how it's used.

Thanks. For me, a single 2' by 4' section with a couple of sturdy sawhorses is probably exactly what I need for my home maintenance projects. I don't need a 300 pound wood working bench, but I do need something better than the Workmate that I finally put curbside.

Hi, I noticed you're not using the resilient channel and installing directly to the framing and joists. I'm planning to install sonopan on my un-insulated bsmt ceiling as well, but the contractor says I need the resilient channels. How is the noise reduction in your bsmt?

Hey man, just letting you know that you saved me about $200-250 Canadian by getting my Martinez from the Atlas Machinery online store. I didn't know about that store until I watched this video. I've seen other Canadians comments on various videos where they got theirs from the Martinez website and ended up buying them at US prices, so they paid like $600+ CAD for theirs. I paid exactly $420 for mine, the shipping was free and I only paid $20 in taxes (also in Vancouver). I also have a wood handle 14 oz Stiletto but the m1/m1 Martinez is the best of the best. edit: btw, through your videos I also found out about Akribis and bought the exact R1HB+ and LT modular set up that the Akribis owner personally recommends. I always found the look of Occidental bags to be hideous so I pulled the trigger on the Akribis bags because they look so much better, lol. The suspenders and super belt really let you get it out of in a flash. The thought of buying something I can't change never sat well with me, hence the beauty of the modular set ups. Glad to support a Canadian company too.

You've got some very oddly shaped cut outs on the top without any explanation. Beyond the dog holes and cup holder, what are the others for?
@tme87352 ай бұрын
If you look at the last 30 seconds or so of the video, some of that is shown. I think one hole serves as a carrying handle, and some of the larger holes are for clamping.

It would be cool to have tool racks on the under side of the table so it’s multi use. You can use it as a table when you fold it out and for tool storage when it’s folded up on the wall. Just a thought.

Hey! I realize I’m extremely late here, but I can’t find reviews of that exact suspender you’re using. Did you find it uncomfortable to break in? Is it sweaty? Does the lack of padding cause it to dig in anywhere? I’m interested in trying that style but don’t want to get into something I’ll regret. It looks amazing, but just wanted to ask someone before I buy. Cheers!!
