Yes, the ocean is exquisite, but WTF do you have to kill everything of beauty that is submerged. I fail to understand how getting a wetsuit on and a spear, diving into a pristine underwater space and then destroying something rare and beautiful makes you a happier person. I just don't get it!!!

If it helps your understanding, I do it to grab a feed of fish for my family. Remember the footage you have watched is not all filmed on a single trip and a single day. Would you rather I was getting my fish from indiscriminate long line fishing or net hauling? I shoot a lot of stuff on film and I take enough for a feed and leave lots for next time. It's really no different to watching a marlin carve up a bait ball.
