They look nice. You could’ve put them in your oven for 3-4 hours on 200 -250 F. to bake it on if it’s an enamel for better durability.

Hello, wondering if you have ever considered making a tent onboard your frt canoe, perhaps up in the bow area? If so how would you go about making the tent? Steve (68yrs) Manitoba. I'm from Kipawaw, Quebec. Had a 21' freight canoe when I was in my teens on Lake Kipawa. Cheers!

I've read that the 2004 holds 11.2 quarts but you show less than 4 quarts flushed yet I saw the bubbles telling us it was almost empty so how could only 4 quarts come out. Then you said to top it off! 11.2 - 4 qts = 7 qts you'll need to top it off!? As you can see I am confused. I wanted to see how and when you refilled the transmission fluid? Did you refill as you removed old (which I don't think you did)? Did you flush out all the old then refill? And do you consider 7 quarts as topping it off?? Again I'm a little confused!

Hello I'm having a problem with the knock sensor in my 2003 GMC Yukon XL 2500. I've changed the original sensor, wire, and refrigerator face three times, yet the Check Engine Light is still on. The codes that appear on the scanner are P0300, P0332, and P0327. I also changed the spark plugs with the wire, and used #41-110 spark plugs as recommended by the parts store, even though the recommended spark plug number for my car is 41-962 according to the chassis number. I would like to know if the problem may be caused by using #41-110 spark plugs instead of 41-962. Please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks

Any concerns with trailering with a 90 on the back? I have an 18 ft freighter and have always taken the 9.9 johnson off when trailering to keep stress off the transom but maybe it wouldn't be a problem.
@obscur156
@obscur156 2 ай бұрын
Not at all, this is a Nor-West 22 footer freighter canoe, it is a solid one. If you look closely at 8:10, you will see that my transom is well-supported with the bunks and I have two blocks of woods between the bunks and the frame of the trailer. I am also using a transom saver while trailering. That 90 hp is 350 lbs and no signs of stress after 6 years. If your transom is well-supported, there will be no problem. If you want more info and photos, go on Facebook and search for the group : Freighter Canoe Nunavik Nunavut. I will be there and will be easier to shoot you some pics if needed. Great job, it turned out awesome. You should've clear coated them at the end to make them a bit shiny and to give a little protection. For those who think the paint will come off when you take them out, put a painter's tape on your socket or on the lug nuts when you take them off or when you put them back on. Again, it turned out excellent 👍🏽

You do the same thing I do. I've been a Toyota tech for 23+ years. All of my vehicles are Auto and I have always installed an Aftermarket trans cooler and filter kit. It leaves the trans, to the filter kit, to the AM cooler, back through the radiator and back to the trans. That routing is because in theory the fluid leaves the trans "too hot" goes to the cooler, gets "too cold" back the rad to stabilize the temp and back to the trans. I don't care what ANY Manufacturer says, trans temps should NEVER go beyond 180 Degrees no matter what..
