This was the last time we performed with Padre Angelico. At over 70 years of age, his voice is still amazing, flexible, and incredibly powerful. This "Addio" brings back memories of performing with a generous, unforgettable and faithful friend--even though I am not playing on this particular selection.

He is a marvelous singer and Sue Talley on the piano is just fabulous. A real blessing.

A technique like this did not used to be that unusual. He is a heroic tenor and we usually keep our voices longer because we find them later.
