We are from the Mautaiki Ngavii family on our grandmothers side, the place is bush now but family told us it used to be a pineapple plantation long time ago. It was beautiful to see, definitely miss it 👍

OMG to see this stone of my great grandfather in Ivirua is surreal. I never knew this was where he was laid to rest. I would like to see where his Wife Kaputai is.

Back in the olden days our people used to live in caves and up the mountains, they lived there because its easier to see the enemies approaching from a distance. When Christianity arrived, we moved down towards the sea to where the villages are now as Christianity put an end to the bloodshed.

Best places for me to visit were , Punanganui markets , Muri night markets , Turtles , Wigmores , Edgewater island night (buffet) Muri beach . Kia manuia 🏖️👍🌅🤙🏝️

Love going to Punanganui markets they always have something great there for everyone 😍 the amount of times our mum wanted to shop at Wigmores was insane 😂🤦🏽♀️ Muri night markets were great for food loved it 👏🏽

Early morning they have island food , Poke , Rukau , taro , fish etc ,& their icecreams are the best 😋 But if we're stay with the bro in Matavera , then it's Super Brown's' & Muri night markets , reka tikae 😋

hope the people look after and feed the dogs, otherwise, what's the harm in spreading kindness and feeding them, please. Bowl of water and nice bone. They talk about how great the islands are but the dogs them to be starving or require Flee and Worm. Please help the Dogs. Much blessings.

The dogs are fed by the locals and some were owned by them. But most times we feed them while we were there, where not sure 🤔 about it now?

Dogs are always fit over there. Mangaia has a lot of food and it’s always puts all the waste little stores maybe expensive, but we live off the land and there is a lot of food that’s been planted all little farms that families have lots of fishing lots of chicken Little pigs goats, so dog shouldn’t go hungry. A lot of families in the community, always feed the dogs and cats

Yes your aunty is right... its up to you to make up your mind and decide if you want to come back and build your own palace lol 😂 It would be so nice to go back and build or even renovate the old family homes. Its sad seeing them lay empty.
