Skeeball, soda machine, kegerator, and a bunch of cool arcade machines. This is every mans dream. Even none gamers would love this setup. 👍🤙

That's Circus Pizza in Maplewood. ShowBiz was down White Bear Avenue a few miles at Larpenteur in St. Paul, but it moved to Midway in 1986 (& closed eight months later). Circus Maplewood was the only location that only had room for the Rock-afire center stage. Billy Bob and Looney Bird are crammed behind them in the old stage Circus had for their previous show before they got the Rock-afire characters in 1987. That was the smallest store they had and one of only two that wasn't a ShowBiz or Chuck E. Cheese before. Brooklyn Park was always Circus too, but was probably four times bigger than Maplewood and had the full Rock-afire show (as did all the other Circus locations).

I think any xs1100 would fit, it doesn't need to be a midnight special. I use eBay for stuff like that.

Wow. You scored high with the ambience here! 💕 Love the sexy paint & lighting, and the added payphone, popcorn, and soda/bar area just make it that much cooler. I want to put in a similar arcade room. What's your electricity bill like per month? How about maintanence costs for the cabinets, etc.?
@patmlem Жыл бұрын
We actually are building a bigger one out in the desert all solar powered. But the bar lights are floresent, the black lights are led so not much electricity. The arcades are maybe 100 watts each but only run a few hours a week. Our bill maybe was 20-30 bucks more a month.

Awesome setup! Horned lizards are very hard to keep alive in captivity, as they are very picky. If these keep eating for you, you've done very well. Keep us posted!

I kept them for about 8 months but released them before winter so they could hibernate. They ate mostley crickets but found a few carpenter ant nests in the yard for them to eat as well. I've seen dozens of the horned toads out here cool looking guys. Love the head bobbing.

Very nice! I also have an Arcade that's very similar in setup, except we have a pool table in the center of the room. Our payphone is mounted on a pillar at an archway, but like yours, is fully operational. Keep having fun and continue to live the dream!

I just bought an original upright Stargate and a Tempest. I wanted a horizontal and a vertical screen to install Game Elf jamma. I bought both machines as the CRT monitors are mint. I did not know you could wire it so you can flip from a jamma to the original PCB board. How did you manage that?

This is really neat! I especially like the use of a Stargate cabinet for a multicade. Feels kinda appropriate that it can take you to any arcade game.
