This is someone who’s taken the time to replay the levels and learn them well… and it’s only one part of the game. The first playthroughs of the act 1s are generally around 6-7 minutes on a first playthrough and act 2s are like 3-5 minutes. It should also be noted that an additional level pack will be released for the deluxe edition in December to advertise sonic movie 3. Plus there’s 2 challenges per act(minus radical highway.) with each act getting an additional optional hard mode challenge when you unlock the final level. (30 in total including the hard mode challenges) There’s also 4 bosses which are around 3+ mins each(except the final boss which is longer) and with the exception of the final boss all have hard mode variants when you unlock the final level that have much more significant differences to their normal fights in comparison to base gens’s hard mode variants of bosses. Then finally there’s an open world/zone hub world with a ton of stuff you can do and collect in it. Oh and then there’s also the fact you get the entirety of sonic generations with this. Which has: -9 levels with 2 acts each(18 acts in total) -5 challenges per act although your only required to play 1 challenge per level(90 in total) -4 main bosses(with hard mode versions) -3 mini bosses(with hard mode versions) -optional pinball minigame Also both games have their own stories. Although shadow generations is notably more story focused, while base gens’s story doesn’t do that much.
