Seleucids are hard for beginners because of how overwhelming it seems. It's not so hard for experienced players who know how to keep the campaign in the bigger picture. Like, yes the Pontics will constantly be attacking Tarsus and the Armenians will constantly be attacking Hatra, but the likelihood of them being able to beat Militia Hoplites defending in a V formation is next to zero. Those two cities act as a shield as the player quickly takes Sidon, and Sidon, Antioch, and Damascus will be key to pushing the fight against the Egyptians to Jerusalem, Palmyra, and into Egypt itself. Defending Seleucia itself against the Parthians is probably the hardest siege to fight (thanks to the Parthian cataphracts), but Seleucia and Susa being so far away means that, even if you lose the fight in that region, the Parthians are more likely to target the Armenians than come for the rest of the Selecuid Empire.

I add one thing... why continue to make yet another new MAP more complex than the previous one with dozens and dozens of factions if the game engine is too old and does not support these incredible modifications??? BECAUSE it's the same problem since the first publication!!! And that's why "I'm hallucinating" and I say... yet another new map??? in which we won't be able to go very far???? what's the point??? and believe me I sincerely thank all this team!! but... no conquest or long campaign for this MOD. And if a player who will read me has managed to conquer more than Italy, Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily who will tell me how

I'LL SAY IT AGAIN HERE I'm a fan from the start, a very big player. and I thank this incredible team again but I'll give you my example I'm still stuck at level 147 my game is screwed because I can't go beyond. I can load level 147 play all night go up to level 200 without crashing with perfect fluidity but whatever happens if I want to resume my game the next day I go back to level 147. You who are in contact with this creator if you could send him my comment it would be really nice and the Christmas present of many players who love this MOD

When I see your presentation with a member of this team I hallucinate. Because read carefully ... Since this mod was put online never but then never have I been able to succeed in making a long campaign. This team work on a game that is almost 20 years old is incredible we all agree. But we can not enjoy it for very long. On the forums we are almost sent on the roses when we talk about it. (politely but surely) there is a computer problem related to the loading of saved games and I think that before redoing a superb map the priority would be to make sure that we can load our game left the day before and enjoy this incredible work.

Keep up the good work man. I want you to know that you brought me back to this game. I used to remember this game was bad, but it turns out to be fine. Stay strong man.

Lagides is the actual family name of the Ptolomeis, it's also represented in Imperator as the surname of Ptolomeic characters. Not an imposter.

You're smart man so I would just recommend having a goal for each section of the campaign with perhaps Hoi4 being world domination finally but then just start influencing different parts of the world once he achieve your first goal
@Red_ZedКүн бұрын
Yeah, CK3 was just to retain the Agiads, EU4 will be colonial then we shall see :)

Lorewise I wonder how Catholicism and Ibadi existed when Judais was wiped out by the Greek Empire. My lore-theory could be that some Jewish diaspora fled Jerusalem and settled in Gaul and Scandinavia and it evolved to be Catholic while some stood by their faith. Years later some travellers got lost travelling in Africa and Carthage and founded Islam in the deserts of the Sahara.

just found your other video (part 1) and you conviced me to sub :). Also planning and playing a mega campaign myself (trying to form Greater Iberia in Imperator in a two player MP mega campaign) and still figuring out a fun nation to do a solo mega campaign with. Anyway, fun video! Cheers!

Awesome thanks man!! That sounds fun :) In terms of a recommendation I’d say Bactria would be a fantastic option, Greeks in the East surrounded by foreign faiths and cultures, see if you can survive as a Greek kingdom all the way through :)

This map looks like what I hoped would be in Rome 2. The tiny number of regions is a gamebreaking issue. Sparta controls the entire Peloponnese peninsula just by having Sparta. Even DEI can't salvage Rome 2 because it can't fix the map.

Yeah hopefully this map will give a good representation to the world :)

That is the point of a mega campaign, no Rome, no Constantine thus no Christianity in the East
@waltercommunitycollege1615Күн бұрын
@@Red_Zed Christianity and Islam are just objectively the most content-rich religions in-game. Paganism is all just a similar mush, which is why I dislike imperator for mega-campaigns.
