Hi there! What if i just want one to clean my solar system with an ir camera to check panels and just service a few people a week in my area. I live in australia and i would like to purchase this to make life easy. In Australia cleaning drones are unheard of. I recently fractured my back so now im scared of heights due to a fall off a commercial greenhouse. I plan on investing a small portion of my insurance payout to do this. I need it mainly for solar panels in bushland, i was hoping you have an attachment so i can spray agriculture as thats the two niche markets i would like to start with. Plus it would be nice to spray area on my own property as i have 40 acres of weeds and grass between my solar panels so i want one machine to do both jobs. The area i live in is nestled directly inbetween 2 towns with a total population of roughly 160k people but all are mostly rural off grid with solar panel systems averaging 13.5kw systems Once my friends neighbours see me, word will get out very quickly but im just going to get to where im comfortable and keep on the grind whenever i need to. I already own everything i have outright so im seeking an early retirement and the best drone in the business. Im sure my mentality will change and ill end up having to upscale so i can take a step back and keep the business for my children. I know what i need to get to use this drone to make money in Australia rePC and you also need your reOL but i just want to buy it for my own land to start with as a hobby before i go and study for the requirements while i wait. I want to be the first person in Australia with your product if it hasnt already happened lol

Hi Nathaniel, Thank you for sharing your vision-your plan sounds exciting and well-thought-out! It’s great to see you thinking about safety and innovation after your injury. We are the New Zealand and Australian distributors of Lucid products, Our drone is an excellent fit for your needs. It’s versatile enough to clean solar panels effectively, pitched roofs and building facades. Both niches you’ve identified (solar maintenance and spraying) are perfect for rural Australia, especially in off-grid areas like yours. Given your location and target market, there’s strong potential for word-of-mouth growth, and starting small with your own property is a smart way to gain experience. Once you're ready to scale, you’ll have the knowledge and setup to expand confidently. We’d love to help you become a pioneer for this technology in Australia! Let’s discuss the ideal model and any necessary add-ons to ensure it meets both your immediate and future needs. We can also guide you through integrating it into your workflow and answer any questions about licensing requirements like the RePL and ReOC. Please reach out to me via email, and we can discuss options in more detail. Looking forward to helping you get started! Just laughing at all the ignorance in the comments. "Just use a garden hose, etc. 😂 What your NOT seeing in this short, is the Filtration System being used, the same for window cleaners, water straight from the tap will leave windows very spotted, which in this case will result in loss of efficiency/effectiveness of Solar system. The water must be filtered/purified and varies in different areas/towns/cities on how bad that is. It's NOT as cut & dry as you think by observing this. As well as cleaners that are safe to the sensative solar panels. Which I would never want anyway besides looking Horrible on your roof, one good hail storm and there is an insuance claim, as well as the Toxicity of recycling the damaged solar panels to the environment. Many damaged ones get shipped to South America and elsewhere to save on cost in recycling them due to no concern for workers safety or epa laws etc..

This guy looks like he should be smoking a joint, How can squirting a trickle of water/solution on a window from 6 feet make the window clean and end up streak free compared to typical window cleaning servives? Nice cartoon idea but in the real world is it financial viable.

Hey Andrew, its an amazing episode on Jeff Dudan on Franchising, Innovation, and Personal Growth, and I can see the impact you’re making through such insightful content. I’ve worked with Raj Shamani’s podcast channel, repurposing their long-form episodes into short-form content and distributing it across Instagram and TikTok. This approach generated 32,787,653 views and 150,000 new subscribers in the last 30 days alone. With the same strategy, I’m confident we could expand Lucid Bots Podcast’s reach and engagement, helping you connect with a much broader audience over the next 90 days. Let’s set up a quick 15-minute call this week so I can walk you through a customized plan I’ve mapped out specifically for you. Does that work?

I'm thinking maybe using a drone to drop a robot roller brush, and maybe tethered to it might be the more optimal way. Lots of people saying pressure washing solar panels is a nono.

I'm an experienced part 107 pilot and drone builder. I have an industrial drone I'm looking to convert to do this as there's a ton of dirty solar panels in my neighborhood...what sort of setup psi/water purifier would you recommend possibly? I've heard a pressure washer can damage the solar panels if it's too much right, so having someone experienced tell me what they're using would be really helpful. Thanks!

Is your drone scrubbing the windows and buildings? Or is it just tossing water 💦 on it???????
@lucidbots
@lucidbots 3 ай бұрын
The Sherpa drone is capable of both soft washing and pressure washing. In this case, soft washing, which is a common exterior cleaning technique independent of the use of drones. It uses lower pressure alongside a mixture of algaecides, bleach, surfactants, and water to clean buildings.

Since it's already carrying a hose, it seems it would be better to have wired power and the batteries will just serve as backup in case the power goes out.

If one of my subcontractors pulls up with this crap, he can go home and stay there with his drone. That stuff doesn't do a proper job at all. If you done it by hand, you know spraying water on them doesn't work and is exactly why we do what we do. These things void the warranty left right and center knowing HP isn't allowed on solar... Seen plus 100 try it, not a single o e doing a good job. Good luck though!

These drones use low pressure, high flow to clean. Not HP! It hooks up to a soft wash skid which allows you to apply an approved solar cleaning solution followed by a deionized rinse. The results come out surprisingly good for a touchless cleaning option and allows you to come in at a lower price point, which in turn can attract a much larger client base.
