I use flight modes on my flap switch. Thus was a reflight so had to trim it in each flightmode (flaps up, landing and take off) I'll necr have to trim her again.

Had a video 3xplainging FM like 3 years ago. Bc ppl kept asking me about it getting confused on spektrum receivers. Not the same FM lol after that video I've seen many switch. Even had a few ppl copy my video which ic fine. Info get out there to ppl who need it. That's the main thing

I have a RM TX16 max. Aswell with my CRSF on it. I ordered a CRSF lite for frsky. I know the FP works on RM I will test frsky and report back

@@NoonzAirborneRC Did you change the ESC values for voltage cutoff? Or, should I just leave those alone? I have a beeper that I'll plug into my battery and set for 14.9V (~20%) for a 4S pack.

@samuelbadillo5741 is the rudder going left too? Simply reverse the ch. If rudder is going the correct direction. Perform the steering calibration. I always run my steering on a separate ch mixed to rudder. This way I can reverse if needed without messing up ch4 also can subtrim it for same reasons. #

@@NoonzAirborneRC so gear is down rudder going the correct directions… so left input on rudder nose wheel goes right.. may just put it on a separate channel and be done with it.. thanks for your quick reply.

@samuelbadillo5741 NP yeah I run a separate ch for steering always even on 6ch fw planes. Just makes life easier and can get it dialed in.

@rcnfo1197 I've never had a bird issue. I would suggest tou have the most updated firmware on both the TX and RX. I say this bc it could be an issue if the firmware are to far apart on both devices. I have this happen here and there. I notice when I power off the plane it takes a few seconds for the x20 to see thats its "off" then ya get that alarm. If u wait till u see the reciever strength disappear in the upper right hand corner then pwr off tx you don't get the alarm 👍

Thanks. Good to know. I finally just registered the receiver again and then did bind and that worked. Both had latest firmware. Only change was to power output (from 10mW to 100mW), which triggered an alert to re-bind the receiver.

@rcnfo1197 yes you are correct. Changing the power level always prompts a rebind. Glad ya got it up and running

I left elevator at 100% with 30% expo and had ailerons at 100, 90, 80 with 15% expo

@markkollmann7638 it has a flight controller helps keep the model level in "helicopter" mode and then acts like AS3X in airplane mode no auto level in plane mode. 👍🇺🇲

In Europe I see many Radios like here in the USA. I'd say frsky and spektrum be the most popular. Now for the big planes it depends. When you see those giants they usually use one reciever output ch. Per surface. This way you get most control. Lets say a AF Model turbine l39. You have 4 servos in the wing. 1 for rudder, 2 for elevator, 1 steering. Then 1 ch for throttle, 1 for gear, and one for brakes. This would be 11ch...each it's own ch. Now you could "y" things together but whn people get to the things you talking about. Usually minimum 12ch up 18ch. Also the l39 has an airbrake. You would need 12ch if ya wanted to use that. Channels get used up real quick. My Roban airwolf uses 7ch minimum. Then ass lights, moving rocket pod, guns. Yeah ch. Go quick lol.

Thanks, Steve!! Yes, your wonderment and wizardry definitely would help and would have helped in this unforseen incident. I lost one engine after my first turn after take off and down she went. Found her in the desert and missed all the mesquite trees. (Idk how lol) but hit the one huge outcropping of boulders and rocks. Thought and esc went out. When taking it apart to put the stuff into the new fuse, I found out the one esc throttle cable came undone INSIDE the fuse under the panel where the airbrake is. HOW? your guess as good as mine. Loved that jet, but when it became discontinued and parts got scarce. I sold it to a good friend. Thanks so much for watching!!! *as i wrote this bowing to au....master* 😂🤣

How does the gyro "lock" mode work ? Is it similar to Spektrum's SAFE ? let go the sticks to center and the model will auto level ?
