Was it helpful? Yes. But is it correct? Why should I trust that you have taught it correctly? Who is Julien Miquel anyway? I came here through a link provided by Google. Surely Google is not trying to steer me towards their preferred pronunciation, because they are just linking to a site with an algorithm that favors popular choices. Maybe Julien thought he knew how to say it, but was improperly taught by a foreigner who had a speech impediment. At this stage, I could happily live the rest of my life, saying it like the way you showed me, which totally makes phonietic sense anyway. I could even teach it to others. Or I could challenge the pronunciation, go to another site, and cross-compare with other youtube videos. But if they were not the same, I'd be faced with the same dilemma of who to believe. I could seek a higher authority, like a korean language teacher -- someone with a reputation. I could shop for pronunciations that compete on reputation, finally arriving at the best pronunciation from the highest authority. But would that even be correct? By what standard could I even hope to judge what is the best pronunciation of all?
