This discussion impacted me tremendously. I have been dealing with making a major decision to go through the painful process of chemo to be able to prolong my life for a few months, or to let go of this mortal coil and embrace my mortality and use my suffering to bring more souls into the kingdom. I prefer to be a lesson to others in the way I die. I liked the idea of giving my death to Jesus...the way He gave His life for me. The ultimate gift is to embrace this time in our lives, knowing and understanding that as Hezekiah we can think that we want more time and struggle emotionally to prolong the inevitable. To me. This would mean endless pain trying to preserve my body for more time here on earth..but the price does not seem worth it. I am certain of my eternal future with the Lord and, I would prefer the letting go of my earthly body in exchange for my translated one with complete certainty of no more pain, tears sorrow or death...thank you for this discourse.

It is technically impossible to give a biblical tithe today. We can only give freewill offerings to local churches, widows, orphas and the poor, NOT a tithe. Remember the tithe was an inheritance of the tribe of Levi since they did not receive a portion of the land and had other duties to perform. “Behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tithes in Israel as an inheritance in return for the work which they perform, the work of the tabernacle of meeting" (Numbers 18:21). •So when was this inheritance transferred to your local church pastor? •When did the tithe stop being a means of supporting the Levites? •And are modern pastors from the tribe of Levi? And remember a tithe was NEVER money it was animals and agricultural harvests. (But that doesn't mean there was no money those days) •A freewill offering can be anything (services, clothing, money etc.) and we can give to anyone in need. HalleluYah

Aw man this has me reminiscing on my youth group days. So many good songs! I still listen to Psalm 63 often and of course the Chaplet ❤️

I remember as a teen my favorite songs were Limitless, Almighty, Your Arms, Psalm 63, the Journey, & the Chaplet. It's really amazing how popular Remnant's version of the Chaplet became! It's definitely my favorite version.

Being in Remnant was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I was still a bit lost in my faith at the time i joined the band and not only participating in the worship but hearing your messages time after time enriched my soul in ways I still carry to this day. Yet BIBLE says Peter (supposed R Church first leader) had mother in law. Bible says celibacy is not a qualification for clergies. Mat 8:14-15, Mar 1:30-31, Luk 4:38-39. 3. Catholics say Mary was forever virgin. Yet BIBLE says Jesus had brothers and sisters. Mary was not perpetually virgin. Mk 6:3, Mat 13:55, Mat 27:56, Mar 6:3, Mar 15:40, Mar 15:47. 4. Catholics say there is a seat of Peter. Yet BIBLE says nothing about it. Jesus said “not to lord over others”. 11. Catholics has clergy priesthood. Catholics preaches Works Salvation (faith + good works + partake R sacraments + submit to R pontiff + be in R Church + devote to Mary = to be saved). Yet Bible says “believe in Jesus to be saved”. Yet Bible says repent, confess and sins will be forgiven. Catholic Bible changes the word “repentance” in NT into “penance”. Original Greek NT does not use or mean the word penance. Penance = work to atone for sins. Repentance = change of heart. 1 John 1:9, Mat 6. 14. Catholics say Mary went straight to heaven without dying. Yet Bible says nothing about it. 15. Catholics say Islam and Christianity have the same GOD. Yet Islam doesn't believe in death and resurrection of Jesus and Trinity.
