I ended up selling all my Home Alone, I do kind of regret it but they already have a kinda high price and I don't think anything will drive the price higher, so I can try to get it again later if I decide to rebuild the collection. I think they are common enough too that I would have a high chance someone would trade them in etc. Toy joy is the best.

Me and my dad went pretty crazy on pops back then (we bought 250 pops) and now we are selling them in our shop now because we held on to them all these years. We had some big grails some I’m not selling like the SpongeBob Leonardo lunchbox comic con exclusive. I’m gonna keep it because I like it too much at least until it goes to a price that’s worth more then my memories of me collecting with my dad, we actually bought it online for $70 back then and I had to talk him into getting it, now it’s worth $1000 so not a bad pick. Also pops back then were $7 at least that’s what we paid

Because the future value of things is important to me too. I can enjoy it by making videos then put it away safely so it does not get destroyed by dust, light, pests etc. When I was in my 20s I would display tons of things, but things get damaged when on display so I keep it away clean and safe.

Geez how many freaking grails are there in poops? I think that term is used far too much

I think the term is usually reserved for pops worth $100 or more that are hard to get. Yes the Holy grail is a 1 of a kind. But in general if there is a pop that you will have to put in a bunch of time trying to track down in a good condition for a good price you can call those grails. It takes effort and time to get them even if you have all the money in the world. Also in this catalog there is at least 6 pops that were never produced so only prototypes or test prints were made of them. Those can be worth 10K plus so in reality true Grails that almost everyone will never own.

This old Funko mag is awesome! Interesting about the Ferris Bueller and Ron Burgundy pops. Ferris only has 2 pops of him listed on the ppg, and they’re both from 2016. And there is a Ron Burgundy listed from 2012, but it says it was a prototype with no current value. 🤷♂️

Yeah its a time capsule of knowledge, pretty sure all of those were never released in 2012 and different versions were made years later.

This magazine was really cool almost a look back in time! And for it being a 12 year old book it looks to be in great condition not too much wear or any kind of other damage

Yeah I picked it up at toy fair that year and its been in a box of catalogs since. I try to take care of the things I have as best as I can. It really is a time capsule of the time.

They were more realistic to the actual actors. They sold pretty well but not not to the point to explode Funko as a company like the Pops did.

That catalogue was awesome. I started my small but curated Funko Pop collection (approx 200) with The Muppets and Sesame Street figures. I’m in Australia and they weren’t sold here then ( well not in my state) so I bought them from the US. I also have the Hello Kitty KISS set which are cute 😁😁
