Had one of these "back in the day". BUT..... it was tricked-up!!! Bigger air intake and filter. It ran on 110 octane fuel mixed with Castrol R-30 vegetable-based, 2 stroke oil. Nothing could get near it over the first 100 metres. When the YZ B, then YZ C and finally the YZ D came along, NONE of them could match it with my old YZ A.

There is no "powerband" on these bikes......it's just straight forks to the sky right off idle lol, theres no waiting for the power band to kick in, it's in the moment u break ur damn leg kicking it over! Hehehe... no seriously, it is.
