Great review! Do you know if the GKThree has the Wi-Fi option for transferring files like the GKTwo has?

I used to see ads for these on youtube shorts for about 20 dollars or more, 3d printing is cheap and easy but sadly people will always try and get money from other people. good print though!

You should remove the supports before curing to make it easier and leave less marks. Ideally with hot water. Thanks for this review

Already ordered one, first day of preorder, upgrading from my two years old Mars 3 Pro. I just hope they fix the final version, so you can close the lid with the build plate in the dripping position

I'm in the market for a new printer and was really impressed with the GK2 (I have a pair of Elegoo Saturn 2s). I was hesitant to purchase it because I was worried about being stuck in Uniformation's ecosystem of resins. Good to know that you can use other brands of resin with these printers without voiding the warranties. Seriously considering the GK3 now.

can you do a video that shows how to send files wirelessly to the printer. Many of us are having issues. Great video again!

You definitely need more markers. The blue laser turned off a lot because of lost tracking. I got bad surfaces when I lost the tracking too many times with the Raptor in a scan.

Assembled mine per directions but there are extra parts. Also the English directions do not talk about installing those little steel column bushings so I put mine together without them. Hope it works ok without I guess since it’s not it the manual.

I have a T1 and right now I would not recommend one right now, the fan related items need to be sorted. the fan is shit quality and makes so much noise it will make you deaf. The fan duct around the nozzle is total garbage. I can print on 70% fan speed now with altered air intake and new designed air duct around the printhead. The noise is now more acceptable. But really new fan and air duct is a must if you ever want to enjoy one of these printers.

Be very careful! I bought one three weeks ago and loved it, until! I printed a very beautiful tablet holder. It was perfect. I started printing a second and waited to be sure it started correctly. Went to bed and woke to a mass of melted filament all over the print head. This was not spaghetti but full solid dried resin. Everything is incased in a glob of dried resin! My machine is now DOA. Now I get to see what Creality will do? 😢

Sorry to hear this, but the cause of this is due to the print coming off the build plate. The print can then stick to the nozzle and results in nozzle becoming cased in filament.

Please don't quote those marketing specs as factual. They are BS. If you're going to quote specs, test them yourself before you quote them as factual. I own an S1, and I love it, but these numbers are utter nonsense. 1,200 mm/s is NOT the max print speed. It is the max TRAVEL speed. Even in FLSUN's own slicer, on the fastest HS-PLA profile, they never hit anywhere near this speed for printing, ONLY in travel. The actual max print speed, with the stock nozzle, is about 700 mm/s. Same thing with acceleration. That's what they are commanding it to do, not what it can ACTUALLY do. Same thing with flow rate - their testing was flawed. It can't hit anywhere near that with the stock nozzle, it maxes out closer to 60 on flow.

Great video, I have lots of screws left but that is fine, one plastic ring sort of triangle with a center hole and 3 tiny holes no idea what's that for. and mine skipped self inspect. and went chinese on me after firmware update.. If I feed the filament Thru the holes on the wire guide I get filament sensor errors. First print is done a d looks ok

Thank you for your video. But are you sure that all the bearings are the same? It looks to me that only the upper bearings are these graphite bearings and the others are normal linear ball bearings. The top ones look like brass and the rest seem to be black plastic. I don't want to take it apart though as it is new.
@123-3D-UK
@123-3D-UK Ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! The extruder runs left to right on brass an graphite bearings. All the other bearings are regular bearings.

I'm afraid FLSUN is going the wrong way: they should make a cheap, not huge delta that is not enclosed and prints super fast PLA and PETG. I don't really want a premium printer that makes way to much noise that I have to put in the garage.

Thanks for your comment! I would say so yes. Out of the box it is pretty much plug and play, then as you get more knowledge it gives you the opportunity to experiment with multi colour and different filament types down the line.

Great little intro video! Thanks for posting. You mentioned the reverse engineering aspect. i am attempting to scan mechanical components to reduce the time it takes to model them in my cad software (creo 7.0). What settings do you recommend for scanning 3D parts that can have a level of detail that will allow me to reference planes and datums from within the parametric modelling software? I seem to be struggling with either getting way too many data points ( crashing because the software is out of memory for the scan) or not enough. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldnt listen to a review whos company also sells the reviewed item.. there is a known issue with the z frame which causes ringing. The spool on the top is too heavy for the frame. also, creality has horrible build quality. many users expierence loose screws and often a loose nozzle. the loose nozzle can cause "blobs of death". I myself own an e3KE and like it. But again, this review is (most probably) biased. even if not. a company should not review an item that they sell. it is obvious that they will try to get you to buy it.

Why would you make the entire carbon filter disposable inc the plastic? would it be more economical not to mention environmentally friendly to just replace the activate carbon?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the multi-colour towers are not actually "Purge towers" but rather "Prime towers" and are used to prime the colour, make sure there's no colour bleed, etc. I have an X1 Carbon and if I do a print with only height changes, like a Hueforge or a sign, I deactivate the prime tower but keep the flushing volume to 1.0. In prints with lots of colour changes (more than 100) I can lower the flushing volume to 0.6 or 0.7 and use the prime tower to make sure there's no colour bleed and the filament cost is usually very low. Thanks for the detailed review!

Any Printer that is not built for 250-300mms printing on a regular basis for case of wear and tear on parts? Rubbish That's an excuse for any company to have not solid enough quality components. Also Just mount the Spool Unit under the table or make a housing to have it over head its not hard so it doesn't take up 1metre space at all

Thank you for your comments, we do state the max print speed for this machine is 600mm/s but recommend printing at 300mm/s to maintain print quality and premature wear of the parts. We setup the printer on a table, and only provided the space required for the set up we have used as this will be how most people will run the machine.
