Nice demo (and playing). Seems like a very versatile guitar with it's 'own' unique sound. This is what I admire most about it. Is this Reverend Buckshot loud enough? When I ask if it is loud enough I mean is it plenty loud and punchy .. and not lower volumed sounding. In other words does it give that electric thrill enough with the pickups etc? Curious?
@MasonMusicRocksАй бұрын
Yeah it should be nice and loud! The pickups in this give it a nice mix between a Tele and a Gretsch.

'Ain't Talking 'Bout Love' sounds wrong if you use any other sound but the guitar's BRIDGE pickup. It amazes me how many KZbin reviewers use the wrong pickup settings for well known riffs. The latest I've heard is AC/DC's 'Hell's Bells' opening riff played on the NECK pickup. C'mon people.
@harveycan58202 ай бұрын
I know this is an old demo but I wanted to say that the clean sound of a guitar is key. That tells you how the design and materials all come together. It's the baseline tone of the instrument. Here, you chose amps and settings that were, at minimum, gritty and then driven. I'm OK with that but I still don't know what this guitar itself sounds like after quite an investment of time. You had a Fender style amp but left it on the drive side instead of flipping a switch. We got the drive /gain thing from the Orange,didnt need more. All in all, there was no sparkle or clarity or pure tone demonstrated. Beautiful guitar and Reverend is good quality but let the Kingbolt speak!

Bought a 20RT a couple of weeks ago.. Installed a Cab Out jack on the back and it is a very handy unit now.. The cleans are very nice.. The combo itself is so light and manageable sized and now I can plug it into most any cab .. It's a keeper for sure.. The reverb is good enough for the job. About the only con I can think of is it would be nice to have an effects loop, but I can manage that as this is just a minimalistic set up , The tuner is a waste of time which is irrelevant imo.. For what it's designed for I'd say it is a darn good unit. I've played for decades but this would be great for most beginners as you can get decent tones out of it right out of the box.. You can set the cleans and Dirt settings separate and can add a foot switch to go between them if you need it. Give a young beginner a Katana and they will become a modeler tweeker , instead of a guitar player.. lol This little rig is like plug and play...

Does this model have a slim or thick neck? Thanks
@MasonMusicRocks2 ай бұрын
I would classify it as more on the slim / medium side. Definitely wouldn't call it a thick neck. The Regent line is aimed more at entry level musicians so the neck is average / slim to accommodate for many different hand sizes.

I bought a baton rouge wide neck acoustic guitar a few weeks ago and it cost more than the tagima. Tuning pegs are terrible and the tuner is not accurate. It's a nice playing guitar and the build quality is good but their choice of componets to save money is poor. Amazing how tagima is so cheap and everything about it is solid. Tuning pegs turn smoothly. Neck is easy to slide your hand down and the frets don't cut your hands.
@mikga455 ай бұрын
I just bought one a little over a month ago. Same color. Playable out of the box. It would be a good value even if it was 400. I had a fender telecaster I changed the pickups and smoothed out the frets and it cost 400. And the tagima is a better guitar.

The amp is nothing special. Just a cheap amp that looks interesting. I have recorded it against a Vox Pathfinder 15R and it sounds exactly the same except the P15R has nicer lows. The amp sounds nothing like the original Supros. It is voiced like fender amps.
