If individuals doing the surveillance are watching 24/7, would this device still pick up any equipment they would be using or would they be able to turn them off when they’d see this equipment being used to catch them?

If it's off wouldn't it serve it's purpose as a counter sigint device? If you have 24/7 resources thrown at you and have much bigger problems and should probably be recording things your self like that ex narc cop busting dirty cops. Especially if you're being encouraged to do illegal things like kidnap a governor. People do get setup occasionally. I find the tech interesting but have no enemies and don't do anything illegal. I even have been followed for a day after laughing at an undercover that I believe I made just prior who got escorted out of a broom closet by security right in front of me. He did not blend in at all. Untailored cheap suit flying first class looking like he had been in a marine commercial 15 years ago is probably an Air martial 😮.

Air tags - These devices communicate using low-power radio waves on a frequency band between 2.400 GHz and 2.483.5 GHz. Tags are equipped with Bluetooth chips and tiny speakers, they send short range Bluetooth signals - the 1217i specialists in detecting bluetooth also so in an experienced technicians hands it will detect it when it transmits and you happen to be detecting within range at the right time.

I concur with @amya298, the background (which is more foreground) is really annoying and overpowers the speaker. Get rid of it!
