Back in the 70's and 80's toys had so many really cool accessories and playsets. AND they weren't $350.⁰⁰ like Hasbro charges now. Mego's Superheroes had cars, Planet of the Apes had playsets, 🐎 🐴Horses🐴🐎, and so many other unique features and accessories. The GI Joe toys have always had huge amounts of accessories. I remember having the GI Joe scuba diver, one had a "rubber" or plastic raft. Communication gear, weapons, equipment of all kinds. It was awesome. Except for one thing. Kids always lost them. Or some of them. I was one of those kids.

Now however I look back and see some of the best toys from that time and I'm a little bummed I never got into it. Now they are usually expensive and difficult to get. But seeing this video makes is easier to see. Thank you.

For me my childhood growing up was during the 70's. The 80's is when I became a teenager and started High School and toys were no longer my favorite pastime. Cars, real cars, and girls became the most important part of life from 1983 on.

Wow I do not remember that Lone Ranger movie at all. Only the old tv show reruns and the Saturday morning cartoon. Centurions - I think you mean Exo-suits, not ecto. Go-Bots and Transformers were puzzling at the time because ......Transformers reached American shelves a year AFTER Go-Bots were already a thing and had their own cartoon, but Go-Bots were the ones that looked like cheap knockoffs. We didn't find out until much later that the Japanese toys that Transformers were based on came before Go-Bots. Yeah dude, I knew kids who were only children of upper-middle class parents (my cousin being one) who didn't have all the shit you had. You were definitely spoiled Good video. Glad you included the full commercials. A couple odd toys that I had were 1 (one) Starrior by Tomy (1984). They were mecha-suit type robots, with a tiny human 'driver' in the head, and some sort of spring activated, wind-up device on the chest... a drill, a chisel, pulsing blasters... And another was action figures from Clash of the Titans (1981) I just had the Perseus figure who came with a sword and shield, and the Pegasus figure. Many years later I came across figures/vehicle for Battle Of The Planets (1978-1980). I know I would have loved to have those when I was a kid.

Sounds like you had an awesome childhood like me, I'm from Venezuela but my Mom and Pop, did a PhD in the USA during the 80s and spoiled me with Heman Transformers and Star Wars, my Mom had to stay a little longer so I was in Venezuela with my Papa and when she arrived she had the Slave I of Bobba Fett as a gift!!! and the Rambo action figure from Gallob who killed during the 80s and 90s, also has a huge spot in my heart micro machines are freaking awesome!

G.I Joe and Transformers/Go Bots were it for me as a kid (Not counting things like Lego, Construx, etc) I wasn't interested in any of the other stuff mentioned here. If I acquired anything else such as Micro Machines, Star Wars Figures or another odd figure from some other toy line, etc they were usually stuff my Grandmother picked up at Yard Sales and gave me.

You can still do SWG slicing and spice crafting on SWG Restoration or one of the SWGemu servers like Finalizer, Infinity, and/or Empire in Flames. Restoration is more like a modified CU server, with some NGE elements (quests, rewards, and such), but the professions/expertise is CU. Resoration is my current favorite. Not a huge community, but decent sized. They are just starting to implement Heroics as well. Espa/Tusken King and ISD, so far, but they will be adding the others. Jedi Unlock system. Obviously the SWGemu servers are based on the preCU. Finalizer about as raw as it gets. Infinity and Empire in Flames are both heavily modified. Have not played on SWGemu servers in years though. All have Jedi unlock systems. Not sure about slicing, but a couple of the NGE servers have added smuggler spice crafting back. SWG Beyond and SWG Evolve. SWG Beyond is a modified NGE server and even has a new profession (Vanguard). I'm just starting to try out Beyond, like as of yesterday lol. Jedi is a selectable starting profession. SWG Evolve is heavily modified and kind of a hybrid of CU/NGE. Mostly NGE, but you can do hybrid professions and it does have some of the base CU professions. Not much of a community though. Don't expect to see anyone in Mos Eisley haha. Jedi unlock system. In my personal opinion, all the above are still better than SWTOR lol. Not sure about SWG Legends. Haven't played that server in years. It is heavily modified though, so it might have spice crafting too.

A recommendation... Look up Alexander Lou rei, mafia vs ninja, super ninja, ninja in the USA, and ninja condors.. it will change your life forever!
