Why does it feel like I’m in a college elective in a large classroom again?

I play on PS4 Dpad, so I've been having a lot of trouble trying to get the DP -> 9 for TK Youzansen consistently. I've gotten it a few times (which felt like chance), but hitting 9 on my Dpad feels extremely hard

bit late but i wanna note. best hitbox method (not keyboard) for tk yzs would be 6239 because you don't have to release down to get it, the socd cleaning in nearly all all buttons controller (the only exception being those who use non standard socd cleaning) prioritizes up inputs over down, so all the inputs after the initial 6 come out as fast as humanly possible since you don't have to remove your fingers after that point.

Thank you sooooo much for this video. I have been going nuts trying to doing the double jump combo. I didn't know about holding down when you do it so you can keep your second jump. Now I can do it no problem. Thank you so much again. 🙏😁

New to AC+R and I'm gonna try and apply these tomorrow when I lab again. I'm curious though how do people do her guard cancel specials mid-combos because I don't seem to see anyone mention how to do that (unless that's like an EX Baiken thing or whatever)
@FGCZetta2 жыл бұрын
Suzuran (63214k) is cancellable into guard cancels with normal Baiken. You just have to input 63214k412p, for instance.

I can't seem to master the S/H Kabari OS no matter how much I practice it. It is just very inconsistant in general.

I think it's one of those pieces of tech that will take months or years to learn. It's tough. Probably similar to stuff like +R tatami frc kire.

This video is absolutely perfect. The cross up OS is absolutely necessary. For every Baiken player to know. This also helped with teaching me why my overhead combos aren't consistent. The video it easily going to get watched over 20 times for me. Thank you for sharing.

From TK yozansen or normal jump yozansen I can't seem to replicate the momentum you have in this video? Am I doing something wrong here?
@FGCZetta2 жыл бұрын
Are you doing 66 RC? You'll need to do that for most youzansen RC followups.
@peanutmsk2 жыл бұрын
@@FGCZetta Ohh okay. Does dash macro work or just 66?
@FGCZetta2 жыл бұрын
@@peanutmsk Dash macro should work. 66 is just shorthand for forward dash! Personally I find actually using the 66 motion easier just because my right hand has to RC.

1:53 I never would have thought of this myself, but it's so useful! Also since I know how to do this now I decided to see if I could use this with other specials too. I found you could you use the same technique in the corner from 2H to tatami or S Kabari since you can still do a half circle input for quarter circle inputs allowing the OS to be used here as well. The damage difference isn't as huge as the one you showed (since you get a corner combo either way), but I think it's still worth doing since it's essentially the same technique.
@FGCZetta2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I discovered that recently with some help from someone on Discord. I'm planning on hopefully doing an updated video just explaining it in general. The tatami/s kabari one is super nice.
