That's was my understanding as well, unless you can't safely reach a rung of course then you could reuse a rung. I for instance know I can't reach the top but would still use all 4 others and repeat 1.

really? it took me all of 2 minutes to get used to using a tripod and be solid as a rock. I still don't even personally own a tripod and it's still easy lol

@@SharpShootr92 I meant there's nothing found in nature that's anything like a tripod to assist you in shooting. They're dumb, offer an unfair advantage, and should be banned. I own the finest RRS tripod for shooting but I will never use it in a match. I only use my RRS tripod for shooting targets with my Vudoo as I find it superior to a bench for that purpose.

Interesting thought. I disagree completely though. Added a tripod to my coyote hunting gear and I’ll never go again without one. Also tripods are almost always used in African hunting. They call them shooting sticks but it’s the same dang thing. Get stable is the name of the game with rifle shooting… if you don’t like tripods then feel free not to use one. Any practice I can get using one under a time crunch is an opportunity I’ll take because it will make me more efficient when hunting.

@@austinkroe I meant competition only. I have nothing against using a tripod for hunting; I would use mine for hunting too.

@@Sagittariustoo in a tree you can use a tree branch or vine like a tripod leg.

But with that bipod, it has helped me win several matches and some of which I have won rifles that run around $5000.

@@John-uo1qf Oh I agree with you there. NEVER had a single problem out of my vudoos. Lots of people say the L3i's are fantastic. I just hope I'm one of em. Cuz this isn't too inspiring. Would love to see a vid on setting these up. Hardly any out there

The way I read stage 5, it should be: near to far; far to near; far to near; far to near. “Move to a new run and engage the targets far to near. Repeat this sequence for to more rungs” the fact that the far to near instructions are contained in their own sentence and then followed by a command to repeat that sequence means to me that it is the instructions contained in the previous sentence must be repeated, instead of the instructions in the two preceding sentences. Semantics, I know, but I think it’s a poor word choice for the stage description.
