How are you liking that 200-800? Any negatives with it so far?
@jamesbryanrulida9 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching… the only negative is the aperture which is difficult to get a sharp photo unless you bump up your ISO to get a high shutter speed which it will introduce tons of noise in the image, i would say this lens is good for amateur photographer like me

Great stuff, man! I own the 100-500, and I love it. But yesterday I just got my 200-800 after waiting for months and months, and I'm looking forward to putting it through its paces. I plan to pick up an R5 Mk II before the end of the year, and I can see keeping the 200-800 on that body, and the 100-500 on my R6 Mk II. One pleasant surprise was how light it is in comparison with my Sigma 150-600, which I plan to sell now as it's redundant. (Actually, both the 100-500 and 200-800 are very light and easy to handle, which is great.)
@jamesbryanrulidaАй бұрын
@@adude394 both lenses are amazing i wish i can keep both but for birds 100-500 is short, 800mm is my favorite focal length for bird, i wish Canon will make a 800mm f6.3 like Nikon

Hello, great video. Do you still have this bag? Im looking into it myself and wondering if i could stuff an r5 with the 100-500 attached into it (with the hood inverted or maybe without the hood attached at all) with no dividers. Have you tried that? Seems like the internal size would be *just* big enough. Thanks!

@jamesbryanrulida4 ай бұрын
@@RahulSharma-ki3ul i replace my 100-500 with 200-800 because of reach, birds are tiny so 500mm is a bit of a challenge, the downside of 200-800 is the f9 aperture but i can still manage to get some nice photo inside the forest, for birding i recommend 200-800

If you just want a decent DLSR for traditional photography, it's hard to go wrong with a used Canon Rebel or D-series and their inexpensive 50mm lens. I use a t1i and 70D often. They both still take good pictures. Sure, if you're wealthy, get better stuff. But you don't NEED it to take excellent and artistic photos. You also don't need anything expensive if you're never going to print and frame your work.
@jamesbryanrulida6 ай бұрын
for personal use it is perfect, you will struggle a lot if you shoot wildlife but for landscape portrait it is fine put some 50mm f1.8 and you have aa awesome combo, modern camera make it easy for you to photograph but it takes away the fun of photography
