Don't be too hard on your self. Sleeping late a few days is ok. You are tired and traumatized. It takes its toll physically, emotionally and mentally. I think it's only fair for you to be able to open up to someone. It's too much stress for you to have to isolate as well. Although we naturally want to hide, we have to open up to receive love and energy from others. If not her, others will take that place. For now, be a little selfish and rest when you need to. Your plants look awesome as usual.

STRENGTH Patrick. You still have a lot to offer, a lot to do; and many people you don't know personally appreciate and learn from your experiences. Release your sorrows by exposing them freely, this will make the burden less, the tensions decrease and the path continue until you find that spiritual peace that allows you to be happy and smile even with the most "insignificant" things. Also let your body rest when it asks you to, give time to time. . . Brotherly greetings Patrick 💪👍🙂👍

It really sucks when you miss a flower. It happens to me every now and then. Often it's one that's hidden behind shading fabric. Regarding your current situation: give it some time, you’ll feel better in a year from now. Concentrate on the good things you have going on right now - the plants, the pets, the videos, the books… Cheers :)

I don't hybridize cacti, though I do roses and occasionally clematis and whatnot. You've developed MANY beautiful cactus selections! Oh, and those mild, yet very wet gloomy winters are soooo depressing I'm sure!

If it’s not too indiscreet, how many square meters of land are you working with? Can give some perspective to your viewers. Prost
@Cactusjerk15 сағат бұрын
I am currently working with three smaller greenhouses that are roughly 10 square meters each. Wanted to build another greenhouse this summer, but that's postponed for a while. The heating costs here are substantial, so I rather try to have a few small well insulated greenhouses than one huge one. Also have problems building bigger structures because of the jungle here. Nothing is straight. It's all slopes and stuff. Takes a good year to prepare the area.

Hey...this probably isn't the ideal time to add more animals.... BUT... Have you considered some kind of fowl ..like a duck...or turkey to eat up all your slugs?
@Cactusjerk15 сағат бұрын
Would love to get some but we have so many wild animals here that I'm worried something would happen to them. Neighbor's chickens had a rough time in the beginning and it would break my heart to lose animals to hawks, foxes and weasels.

Stay strong, man. You will get through this, one way or another. And remember that you are the rock for your dog, you are doing an important service to her, being her daddy right now. So that is incredibly important. Life will eventually get better, please don't worry or let this break your stride. And also remember that plants give us so much calming and positive energy.
@brocktoon84 күн бұрын
How you expressed yourself and what you said seems exactly right to me, the most normal and appropriate response to the situation. I hope you will be able to keep your dog and I hope your wife has as change of heart. Maybe you could talk about what you might both be able to change in the relationship to make it work. But no matter what happens remember that you are special and important and you deserve to be happy, so if you can't rely on someone else for that, then you must find ways to create happiness for yourself. I know it's hard but it's true.

Sometimes if a plant is stressed and thinks it is going to die soon, it will fruit like crazy. It's hard to know if that's the case when plants do that, or if they are just super healthy, the exact opposite. However, if you are concerned about the plant using too much energy for the fruits, you could always take them off, or take all but one off? I did that yesterday with my little olive tree, it had hundreds of "olives" (about a millimeter or two), I also found out yesterday that it had thrips. I sprayed for that, so hopefully it will be fine but it made me wonder if that is why it fruited so crazily. In past years there was never any fruit. Anyway, we will see if it survives and what happens next spring/summer too.

Sometimes life gets hard. Happens to most people. In my case I take mescaline from my own plants. They literally saved my life. I believe these plants are a gift from some other world. The experience is mind-blowing

I am not recommending the consumption of any cactus, but have you tried to eat some pachanoi? Its not much different than tobacco but tastes better... and lasts longer

They always look great. The cacti I have grown from your seeds are 3 years old now. I’m still waiting to get flowers to show you! I have two other cacti that were started at the same time. A Rebutia and an echinopsis which have bloomed for the first time this summer so I’m just hoping for next season with at least sone of yours. The size variation on them is huge. Even with the same seed variety/cross. It’s a long process but worth it!

My father had a plant nursery for many years, I've been around a great variety of plants all my life and I have to say I have never seen such beautiful cactus flowers. You have a good energy for this. Lots of love and energy to you. Just try to remain steady. Take care of yourself. Don't despair too much. You'll get through this difficult time. Love yourself no matter what.

When one door closes another one will open. Stop looking at the door that's close and pay attention to the new door that is open. Stay strong and stay focused. You have a good and informative channel. Don't give up. Everything will be alright with you. Just keep rolling with the punches. No situation is permanent.

Everything is very dark for you right now and cannot see the light. Keep with the flowers and carry on. You now have to be strong. You were too dependent on your wife. You will survive. My husband died suddenly 12 years ago and I was lost for a long time. But as time went on ,the light came back into my life. It will happen to you, just takes time.
