This seems like a good place to ask, are there different breed standards between the US and UK? These dogs look much fluffier, and smaller, with less flat heads than the collies I'm use to seeing.

There is only one breeder of ETT in the US!!! It is simply impossible to buy a puppy of above breed in USA!!!

Pretty example here of the breed. This is at a Crufts show where imo they are more correct then the whippets in the US I have found them not as curvy they are heavier and bigger.

I love this dog breed. I had my male Rhodesians Ridgeback since he was 10 weeks old. He will be 2 year this January. He loves his people that is for sure. Thanks for this clip.

We've had Max for just over a year now, he's 11yrs old , rather unsure of his history however he's steadily acclimatised to our home and now has us trained to his requirements. The ears are large and both show the "thumb marks" that are indicative of the breed, is he stubborn? Yes, can he be grumpy? Yes, is he a bit of a delinquent? Undoubtedly, do we love him? With all our hearts and wouldn't be without him. He's not generally a cuddly dog unless he wants a cuddle. Dont be put off by what I've written, if you can get a pup and get it socialised then you're onto a winner who will have you in stitches. Good luck.

Foxearth is a longtime UK breeder. Suspect from names next two are mainland European and last pobably UK. All are typey and much closer to US type than their rough cousins.

You used the incorrect name a number of times for one of the Gordon Setters. You used Ch Hilda Fantastic of Miki, which is a German Wirehaired Pointer. The Gordon's name is Bryerdale Quantas. Thank you

Unfortunately I have no control of that, this is taken directly from the footage from Crufts. They used the incorrect name and breed for the dog. I liked the shot of the dogs head. They televise it live so I can imagine how easily an error like this could occur. Thank you for pointing that out for other viewers though. If you check out the best of breed vid I did on Gordons you can see the correct name is used.

Yes they’re naturally a very clean dog, and like other very old breeds they do groom and clean themselves, ours stay white clean and fluffy all year round with minimal grooming

Size!!! Unless it’s an inbred and the size has been stunted the maremma is a lot lot bigger, they also have a huge amount of muscle around thier back jawline under the eyes the whole jaw is triangular due to the massive muscles and bones in their mouths, they have a greater bite force than a pit bull, they just don’t use it on humans x
