You don’t mention what year are those models? That’s what we need to know.
@LuxuriaDrive21 сағат бұрын
Great point! The year can definitely impact reliability. We'll make sure to clarify that in future videos!
@tophdawg2 күн бұрын
w211e350 has its issues the w212 is the e350 that you want for reliability. The Q5 is wrong because the 2L 4cylinder engine has had its issues they just fixed that with the latest versions but you want the sq5 which has the 3L v6 supercharged or turbo depending what year you buy and that is the same engine in the s4 and s5's those are also really good vehicles. Dunno about bmw tho never owned any.

these cars depreciate tremendously in US, so when they’re 5-10 years old , people who can’t really afford them , buy them , and then they don’t have money for service or maintenance, so after few years cars are beginning to break down with thousands of dollars in needed repairs, and then is, of course, a cars fault … if you can’t afford to properly service and maintain a Mercedes, Porsche or BMW , don’t buy it … those are luxury vehicles , they are not cheap to buy or own , and they were never intended to be…

I’m from Europe driving MB and BMW my whole life , there are those cars all over the Europe with hundreds of thousands of miles on the clock , and still running strong , many of those Benzes are being used as taxi cabs … but the thing is , Europeans service and maintain their cars , unlike Americans

How many b58's got a 150k miles with no major repairs? Honestly asking cause I want X3 m40i but I don't feel like they been around long enough to make this claim
@RaunchyProfits3 күн бұрын
Long as you do your regular maintenance and dont do any crazy driving like fast and the furious they last a decent amount. But again keep in mind you need to be diligent on servicing.
@LuxuriaDrive3 күн бұрын
That's a great question! The B58 engine has a solid reputation for reliability, but it's always wise to check owner forums and reviews for real experiences, especially for higher mileage.
@damirzanne2 күн бұрын
It all depends on regular service and maintenance
@dsinghr2 күн бұрын
If you do regular services, this car will run forever. BMW was ranked no 1 in reliability as per recent JD power report. Yes, well above Toyota and Lexus. I know it’s hard to believe but it is true. And BMW is built like a tank. Probably the best build quality in their current generation of cars
@adamuczko9894Күн бұрын
I own X3 m40i for 3 years now and I use it also regulary on the track. Only minus is fuel consumption which in Europe is quite expensive. Maintrance is just changing engine Oil after 15k km. Now I have 80k km made and had no any problem with it.

Stop gatekeeping mechanic abilities to needing to get a college degree and a bachelors degree to work on ICE powerplants only to go green and tell these guys the need to learn to code so we can go full electric.

Like I’m not trying to be rude but the ford gt/40 is the original American ford supercar legend and trying to say the saleen has any role in inspiring the 2006 reincarnation of the ford GT. Also there’s a few more cars before the saleen that proved America could build a decent supercar.
