If you have an audio technician that knows how to take out the frequency of the sound of the marker squeaking on the glass, that would be great.

Video Summary using ChatGPT Educational summary of Hybrid and Online Course Design Based on Traditional Course by Video Summarizer: In this video, Yun Moh, an instructional designer at Seattle Central College, presents strategies for designing hybrid and online courses based on traditional face-to-face courses. The method discussed is suitable for both novice and experienced course designers transitioning to online or hybrid formats. Course Adaptation: The process of moving content from a traditional classroom to an online platform can range from a simple transfer to a complete redesign using different pedagogical approaches. The middle-ground approach discussed is ideal for those new to online or hybrid course design. Analysis of Traditional Activities: The first step involves analyzing the timeline or sequence of activities in a traditional class, such as greetings, attendance, Q&A sessions, lectures, group activities, and assessments. Online Transition: Key classroom activities are adapted for online delivery. For instance: Greetings and Check-ins: Utilize learning management systems (LMS) like Canvas for announcements and email for direct communication. Attendance and Engagement: Course analytics in LMS can track student activity. Content Delivery: Lectures can be transformed into recorded videos using tools like Panopto or PowerPoint, supplemented with short quizzes to reinforce understanding. Hybrid Course Design: In a hybrid format, the combination of online and face-to-face activities is optimized to support student learning. This includes: Repurposing online content for in-class discussions and highlighting key lecture points. Utilizing just-in-time teaching (JITT) to address common questions and topics from online discussions during face-to-face sessions. Encouraging active learning through group assignments and flipped classroom models. Assessment Adaptation: The role of quizzes and exams may shift in online settings, often serving more as formative tools to guide student learning rather than summative assessments. Laboratory Work: Transitioning hands-on labs to online formats can be challenging, with solutions ranging from at-home lab kits to on-campus sessions for complex STEM subjects. Time Allocation: The video also addresses the conversion of traditional class hours to online and hybrid formats, suggesting ways to effectively utilize face-to-face time for activities that most benefit from direct interaction. Insights based on numbers: The video highlights the importance of carefully considering the amount of face-to-face time required in hybrid courses, suggesting that a significant portion of content delivery can be effectively handled through online modules, thereby reducing the need for extensive in-person sessions. Example exploratory questions: How can instructors ensure that online discussions in a hybrid course effectively complement face-to-face interactions? (Enter 1 to ask) What are some best practices for creating engaging and informative video lectures for online courses? (Enter 2 to ask) In what ways can assessments be adapted to enhance student learning in an online environment, beyond traditional grading? (Enter 3 to ask) Feel free to ask any questions or for further details, please refer to the video on KZbin.

Thank you. I believe I have a 560 pound Metamorphic Rock. The traditional ways of cleaning it will not work. It is sitting in a meadow and I would love to clean and polish it. I've research several different way from denim, hydrogen peroxide to dish soap and using 600 grit sandpaper. I want to bring it to life but do not want to cause it any damage. Is it possible to direct me? Please.

If it’s in a meadow then “cleaning” or polishing it will kill everything living on/in/under it, not bring it to life.

same reason people say not to serve caviar with metal. Wood, or abalone if you're fancy, will not impart flavor onto the eggs
