It's because the arrow isn't the correct spine for bow weight and knocking point on string isn't square

Ooo you think a renfaire that does this all the time would have the right spine arrow for their bows 😮 but then again it’s mostly for all of us newbies trying for the first time so they probs just bought the cheapest bow and arrows cuz how would we know 🤣 But ty for this detailed explanation! I’ll read up on the knocking point part! This was really fun and I wanna learn more about archery and possibly try lessons! (But I need to build that arm and back muscle first cuz OOOH MY ARMS AFTER 😅 LOL)

@@PLAYfaery not a problem, a poor setup and a draw weight that's too much will only harm your muscles and cause bad form habits. This style is called traditional archery. I'm a grown dude and can shoot 60lb draw weight bows but I don't, I use a bow that's 45.3 lbs at my draw for competion. It's kinda technical but once you understand it it's simple. Watch a video on archers paradox, shows arrows in slow motion. If it's spined correctly to tip weight it will follow the point like a wet noodle. You can fine tune your arrow spine by length and point weight.

@@PLAYfaery after watching it 10 times lol... what happened was the arrow wasn't on the shelf/rest. Your fingers were pinching the arrow causing it to float. Stand a little more sideways to your target. Women usually have the advantage of boobs, which gives them an easier reference point to the string lol. It's making sure your getting the string back to the same place every time, this is called an anchor point. I know I'm at full draw when my index finger is in the corner of my mouth and my nose is touching the string lol.

I was also pleased to see you use Olaplex,that’s what my stylist recommended to me too. And then triple pleased to see Atomic Habits, I’m reading that right NOW damn what a timely video haha.
