i bought a Traveler Aooustic Electric Ultralite on an auction. i put martin strings on it, and plugged it in. it's the worst sounding guitar i've ever played, both directly thru an amp or thru a pedal to try and adjust the tone. is it possible that a setup could fix this? it sounds very bad, like a cheap toy.

How did you manage to not have the strap on the way of your right hand? I keep rubbing my right wrist against the strap.

actually, my right hand does touch the strap a bit but I kind of ignore that. Of course, this tiny guitar is not the most comfortable to play anyway. But there is the low price and the easy travel.

My version (two pickup) has the wooden leg rest (I usually play sitting) but I basically bought the softest, woven cotton strap (leather ends) and it's not really an issue. This is probably my most picked up instrument: light (good for old backs) easy to play, and a very good set up - admittedly, I'm a professional Musical Instrument Tech. and after about two years I had to tweak the truss rod a touch, because the top two weren't ringing correctly 😉

I use this as one of my most often picked up guitars, it's so light and easy to play! I do use the lap extension as I tend to play sitting down. My version is the single coil/piezo version, but I have a double coil humbucker that'll just drop in when I get around to fitting it 😉

Hoewel de tutorial eigenlijk over Bandlab gaat hebben we uiteindelijk allemaal onze vertrouwde software gebruikt en Bandlab alleen gebruikt voor het samenvoegen. Ik werk thuis met Logic Pro X.

What guitar in the les paul shape is on the wall on the left there? Just out of interest as I sold one (a "Vantage" not Vintage but Vantage) just like it last year and if it's that one it'd be a fantastic coincidence. It's absolutely identical.
