@@kaseyatakahashi9753 well ofc FF e2 is just better than everything else, we don't need to argue on that. I recognize that gallagher is insane and all, he outperforms lingsha at E0 surely but it's just wrong saying that she isn't a good upgrade at E1. toughness reduction is the same. if anything, lingsha is more costant. if we talk about total damage, lingsha has way better buffs. if we argue about sub dps, lingsha wins again. the only debatable argument is the energy regen provided by QPQ, but that again is one useless of an argument. you save some FF action value, that's true, but you basically lose all that advantage in total damage: firefly deals less damage and gallagher too. at that point, E1 lingsha + E1 FF would have most likely killed the boss already or, at least, would have been much far ahead than gallagher: after all, E1 firefly alonside E1S1 lingsha deals, alone, around 45%-50% more total damage. as for the the sustain part, I partially agree but future boss will be able to challenge it. I'm pretty sure. If you unable to go for these requirements than I agree lingsha is not worth it and even if you meet them, you look back at your jades and still think it was not a good investment. E2 FF just outperforms any other thing ùand is way cheaper, after all. Unless you get both E1S1 lingsha and E2 FF. That being said, now that I've personally tried them both, I'm very pleased how my break team improved, especially outside moc. So I can assure you it was totally worth it.

@@RuinousNaraka I only meant it for e0 ff players since the amount of investment for e2 ff with no limited sustain is equal to e0 ff with e1 lingsha. As the four star option is not a downgrade for the most part compare e0 lingsha. She is one of the most disappointing character for me because I was expecting her to boost break efficiency and break vul for the team at the very least.

@@kaseyatakahashi9753 yeah I agree she had to to be stronger than how she is, especially at E0 where she is just disappointing. Idk about boosting break efficiency, I think that might be a little too much to ask from a sustainer, but she had to do everything Gallagher does but way better. That had to happen starting from E0, not from E1 (which still has some issues). And yet... I'm disappointed too, don't get me wrong, especially since I really like this character (honkai impact ptsd).

@@JoDPeoplePower I mean yeah, that's more or less what I said in my pinned comments. The whole point of pulling lingsha is to go for her E1 if FF is E1 as well, otherwise she is not worth it. As regards the overkill thought you mentioned, I don't think it will be a problem considering what's about to come. In terms of future-proof, Lingsha E1 will definitely help FF to not fall off in the same way Jingliu did.

@@LaurSfetcuM well I did 2 days ago a run comparison on my channel where I tested E6S0 Gallagher Vs E0S0, E0S1, E1S1 Lingsha in FF's break comp. Having unlocked Lingsha's E1 I can't test her E0 anymore unfortunately.

If you are interested in rough dmg, E1 Lingsha should give +16,5% total damage on every FF's attack compared to E0 lingsha. Consider that this value changes depending on mei and FF's eidolons and super break relics. Overall, E1S1 Lingsha is around +41% FF's total dps increase compared to a E6S0 Gallagher.

@@cutblack5187 E1 Lingsha is stronger, however is not as universal as E1 mei is. For break teams, E1 Lingsha > E1 mei, outside of It E1 mei > E1 Lingsha. So it really depends on what you need and intend to do.

@@3ntr808 that much is true but she needs enemies to be weak to fire in order to break them, thus outside of FF comps it becomes a problem if there's no fire weakness. As for prydwen, I kinda see the problem too and I thought the same at first. If we only look at lingsha and Gallagher's sustain strength then lingsha is clearly superior. However, we have to consider that under every other aspect they're kinda the same, while Gallagher being sp positive. So you see, at least at E0 lingsha they are basically the same in moc. In APO and PF Lingsha is just better.

Firefly is op yes. But break being so overtuned is a big part of it.

if you simply replace Ruan with Robin here its effortless 0 cycle at E0 for JL. Pretty sure JL is stronger than FF - better 0 cycles, cheaper 0 cycles, better scores all over modes with 1-2 gold

@@BelialRus that is true, but I still compared E5 JL E2 Bronya vs E1 Firefly. Even with Robin, she's still behind to FF performance under the same circumstances, especially when we take into account their E2. The gap in their performance is just about to increase with Lingsha's release and the new Tingyun. Luckily, Jingliu is gonna be slightly buffed in 2.6 thanks to the new relic sets but that won't be enough to fix her weaknesses.

@@RuinousNaraka it goes kinda both ways, replace Ruan with Robin on both teams and measure performance under "the same circumstances" 😅. JL suffers a bit from lack of 5* archetype supports and poor Eidolons (frankly the only gains are E1 and E6 , everything else is kinda useless and the same results you have here will be achieved by E1 or even E0 JL. On the other hand investing in E1 Robin is a major gain instead). on top of that we have meta that is pretty much against her and still she nails 14 consecutive MOC 0 cycles at bare minimum cost of 2 to 3 gold (that's about to end tho i guess).

it's simply because she needs to be as fast as possible against this boss, especially without ruan mei. I didn't get her to precise spd breakpoints, I just tried to build her very fast while trying to save any point of cdmg as possible. Under normal circumnstances, your Jingliu and Bronya's speed is good.

Thanks! Her E1 is very needed in (and only) ST scenarios... you won't feel it at all in aoe battles. If you want to keep playing her, then her E1 is a must pull imo because it helps her to keep up in those ST fights she struggles the most. Don't go for higher eidolons because they are completely trash (even her E6 is garbage) unless you really love her like I do. I lost many characters in order to get her E5 and I couldn't even get her E6 because I'm f2p. A shame, but I'll get it in her next rerun. Not worth it at all, but I still want to play her in the distant future so it's needed.

@@RuinousNaraka thanks! Have also several questions about FF team. 1) Why 147 speed on FF instead of 155? It will give her 3 EB in the first cycle, I thought maybe you have DDD on some of the sups but seems like not 2) Why not a QPQ on Gal? With it FF can go into the second ult with just 1 skill

both are good, I dont run neither bronya nor JL that fast because I simply don't see the reason to do so, even if I tried it it didn't help the run at all so I just ran my JL with atk boots and 118-119 spd while bronya was set to 147-148. If you have ruan mei you can bring bronya up to 150 spd so you get to 160, but remember that JL needs to be a bit faster so rise her spd over 120 at least. Even with this bronya ad JL have advance forward so the normal spd break points we know don't really matter much.

@@RuinousNaraka The gameplay that Bronya slow and all in crit dame duel with jingliu that does not make skill points. I don't want that play so I choose to play Bronya spd (160spd or higher) to make SP and also with her E2, she can buff 30% spd to Jingliu (atk boots). both are fast (bronya 160 and Jingliu 134). I would like to get your opinion on my playing style. Is it okay or are there any errors?

@@gingo6580 making bronya a bit faster doesn't resolve any sp issue, not that there's any tho? If you really have some, you can run gallagher. As for the spd tuning is fine.

If JL came back after bronya it might be due to spd decimals so increase the gap between them. If you Lost the E2 buff then you might have ulted before her turn. If this is not the case again we can try to discuss it further

@@RuinousNaraka My problem is losing e2, I built spd very well, at that stage my jingliu reached 162 and my bronya 161, strangely the same operation but sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, there is the problem of You said I used ult before my turn but no, I did it the same as in the video

E2 bronya must be used on JL when she's in her talent or it expires instantly, therefore your next JL action will come after bronya. Could be this the problem? Hi, cool showcase! I managed to get a 0-cycle on this stage with E0S5 Aeon Firefly, E0S5 Cogs Ruan Mei, and E0S1 MoTP HMC, so she's pretty F2P friendly and overall a great unit. Anyway, I have an unrelated doubt, well somewhat unrelated... I lost 50/50 to Bronya (in Firefly's banner) and that means I now own an E2 Bronya. I only really use her with Jingliu and I see you have a few videos showcasing her with E2+Bronya. I was wondering if you would recommend to run her with SPD or ATK boots, and what speedtuning you think is optimal, the other unit in the teamcomp would be Ruan Mei (sustain would vary but the more used option would probably be HuoHuo).

​@@AngelOnerom Hello! Thanks! As regards Jingliu, E2 bronya is useful to make atk Jingliu viable. Under a normal setup where JL has spd boots, I really cant feel the difference until I reach 3/4 cycles where she finally gets an extra action. Under fast clears, E2 + atk JL is a slightly better (and more satisfying) because has higher damage output and can make a perfect usage of team's ultimates and rotations. But you need to understand how it works and how E2 bronya interacts with JL, which I made a video about it.

try slow bronya? i mean jingliu faster. my set up is e2 137speed bronya and 141 speed JL. i can clear faster because jingliu a lot of turns..

@@djseppy2941 that's how you normally play Jingliu and in that situation she gets no benefits from E2 bronya cause being that much faster than her support it's simply a waste as JL has to wait for bronya to come in order to do double turns.

@@RuinousNaraka sometimes i jingliu can hit 2x before bronya. probably because i reach 200+ spd with JL. i also have atk boots and tried hyperspeed. maybe i get used and comfortable with this set up

@@djseppy2941 I understand that and it's not bad, actually works pretty well. I simply find it more useful to bring bronya to 160 spd so Jingliu can travel at 161 spd because of bronya's E2 buff. You are basically playing her as the normal 135 JL spd and Bronya 134 spd but at higher levels of spd.

This rotation can't work with 160 spd bronya because she would always come before JL thus impeding her to function as spdLiu normally would. E6 won't change the rotation so it's all good 👍

@@RuinousNarakait’s not this rotation, it’s a different setup. You take Bronya to 160 speed, and Jingliu to 132-134. You Basic Atk on Bronya when Jingliu has 1 stack of syzygy and isn’t in TM. Basically, you lose 1 turn on the first cycle, but gain 4 (including extra Bronya’s skill from 160 speed) over 6 cycles. It’s not for 0 cycling but for longer fights.

@@RuinousNaraka it’s similar but higher speeds instead of running atk boots. I don’t understand speed, it breaks my brain when I go beyond basics, so for e2 Bronya I have been looking online. Your video’s setup which is really helpful and this 160 setup where Jingliu is basically acting at 160 speed.

Yeah I tried her and she works really good! She has slightly higher buffs but has less uptime. I would still prefer to use mei but Robin is surely on the same level as her.

The basic auto bronya uses is to basically recharge her ult and make the atk rotation work just like spd rotation would but with higher dmg per screenshot. So yeah, after that basic attack you just spam your skill.
