Newline are very cool miniatures, not overly complex or fussy with a consistent sculpting style. One of the best things about them is that they are great value for money and even have some cracking sales at times. I have painted their Napoleonic miniatures in the past and have a colonial force of British vs Afghans in the drawer of opportunity 😀

Nailed it mate! I get a bottle of Nuln Oil, remove half, add half a bottle of the medium to create a full bottle. Then add the other half of the nuln oil into the other half of the medium and I end up with two washes 😁 ... if that makes sense? Thanks buddy!

Top quality video man. What you say about the highlighting taking time to "get it" is spot on. I have been a stop start hobbiest and when I look at models I painted a few years ago, the highlighting looks really nice. Today I am finding it tricky to get back to that standard and find myself thinking, what am I doing wrong. I think key is to not jump to fast

Another superb video 👍🏻 Just rewatched your originals so definitely a simpler method here (not least consolidating your washes/glaze into the 1 step!!) My AB SS have just arrived along with some Adler & Elhiem so time to try out your various techniques 😧 What colours did you use for trousers & non oak leaf helmets as they look great too. Sniper video sounds good & wishlist for future would include SS Planetree, which don’t think you’ve tried yet plus winter Germans & GIs (could be perfect timing with Bolt Action 3 release) also US GI 43 uniform & British Commandos. Should be enough to keep you busy for a bit! Thanks again for your brilliant videos they’re awesome & keep them coming.

Thanks a lot buddy, I really appreciate that. The technique is really easy to follow, just don't rush the process (like I tend to do ... lol). I use AK Interactive AK11425 and 11424 for the non-camouflaged items. I base 11425, wash (as per video), layer and then mix 25 & 24 (2:1) and then final highlight at (1:1) ... hopefully this makes sense. I have a video out on this technique soon but it should be on some of my older videos too. Planetree is definitely planned and I love your thinking with regards to the winter infantry aligning with Warlords latest news. Thanks! I really appreciate the excellent comment with all these ideas, it'll definitely keep me busy!!
