I am semi retired but busy. I go to the YMCA 5 days a week and I've been a member over 20 years. I did water aerobics fir 20 years but now I switched to mornings and I do spin class, Barre and Stretch classes. It doesn't hurt that it is 2 blocks from home❤ I used to walk 4 miles but it is too hot now mamacita! I am in my yard daily. I do all my yard work but I feed the birds and critters. I try to stay on top of my household chores. malachite! love to cook and bake so do that twice a week usually. I have a knit group on Saturday and was a member of the stitch group at church. Before COVID I belonged to a book club (20 years), played Mah Jong twice monthly. I also had a stitchy group at the Y. And I read every night when I go to bed!

Ok the more I see that sock, the less I believe you're a new knitter! This is the work of a seasoned knitter. It looks perfect. Also, your hand motion knitting looks super natural. And I don't BS. I've actually gotten in trouble more times in my life for being too honest. 🤐Keep going! I'm excited to see your finished pair of perfect socks and what you choose to make next!

I had needle in hand at 5 or 6. My first job was darning socks with a sharp. But Mom taught me how to sew and embroider and encouraged me with books and little kits during the summer months. And I played outside a bunch❤❤

Hi Milka! I loved your stash dive -- maybe I should do something similar, given the ridiculous amount of stash that I HAVE.... I definitely have a couple of the patterns you showed here, but I'm not sure I want to start them yet. I do love Lavender & Lace's "Spirit of Christmas," though. (I have a weakness for Santas!) :) I've finished some of the things you have, too. I have both Cricket Collection's "The Voyage Home" and Butternut Road's "Once Upon a Time" framed and on my craft room walls.
