Why am I filming cars? Because it’s my passion it’s what I love to do! Prior to filming this car I knew nothing about it. And yes, I did a mistake the pronunciation of the vehicle that’s my bad. I ordered mine back on August 30th, my x1 MSport was built mid October with finished assembly on 10/31, then arrive at a port in Belgium on Nov 7th. It had been there at that port until about Jan 17th, when it finally went on the roll on/roll off (RORO) vessel Heritage Leader and left Belgium to Germany, then to Great Britain, then to Columbia, through the Panama Canal, then to Mexico, then to San Diego and finally to Port Hueneme/Oxnard, CA. Then it was being prepped at their BMW Processing Center... then last Friday I get word from my salesman that there is a driver side airbag recall by BMW (made by a 3rd party), so my can cannot be delivered until they replace the airbag... When? who knows? That is how long I have been waiting... Hopefully the delay is just a few more weeks and not 30+ more days...

@@hawaiiguy1 wao 😳. I ordered mine on December 31 and it's on its way. They told me will get to the dealer by the end of March 🤔

The recalled 2022-2023 iX xDrive40, iX xDrive50, iX M60 and 2022-2023 X1 xDrive28i vehicles need new driver's airbags. A BMW driver may not be fully protected in a crash if the airbag deployment trajectory is wrong. BMW was conducting a test in January when an abnormal airbag deployment occurred, causing engineers to open an investigation. BMW determined the vehicle would not violate federal regulations, but the automaker found other models may have had the same airbag problems. "Additional analyses found that, in rare cases during air bag module assembly at the supplier, a production process anomaly could occur involving a rebound tether strap. It was suggested that, if this were to occur, it could affect the deployment trajectory and resulting performance deviation, as observed in the January test." - BMW BMW has not received any reports of crashes or injuries.
