What do you use to mount the figure to the cork?

It was a plasticine for children ^^" For more 'professional' material, you can use BlueTack or Patafix

I use Sticky Tack type putty. It's reuseable, and works great! I also use it when priming minis. I'll secure them to a paint stirring stick from the hardware store (They're dirt cheap), and prime them. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

I'll take it :D I have no clue how to pick suitable music and at the same didn't want to make it silent, or worse, deal with copyrights issues. Still thank you for your time watching it and commenting!

As a rule of thumb, you want to find things that are unobtrusive and give the vibe you want the viewer to feel while watching the video. This discordant alien soundscape uses a lot of musical tricks expressly to make the listener uncomfortable. There's a reason they only play it during select parts of horror film soundtracks. It would be well suited for a 10-15 second clip showing off of the final assembly to emphasize the spookiness of the model and I think that was probably the mindset you had, but you want something warm/bland and approachable (almost mall background vibes) for the main body of a build video like this, particularly if you're using captions instead of voice over (as VO could break up the tension of the musical piece somewhat and otherwise make it less oppressive to listen to). I hope this is helpful feedback, not just me being another a-hole on the internet. You're doing a great job, putting yourself out there and making content to help other people!

Hi, I don't understand the second coat of Darth Blue, why does it have a red color?
@daeris_art
@daeris_art Жыл бұрын
When you shake well, the paint gets a bit foamy + on light base (like on the white palette in the background), the light can mess a little bit with colors you see on the screen/ through camera. When you put Darth Blue on white palette, it will look like this. But when it's dry, on black/ other dark surface it's blue-purple-ish as you can see in the end :)
