Question for you my 15 hp Evinrude motor has had a skeg repair a piece welded back on to the bottom and it comes to a complete triangle. Can anyone explain this? Did they just not finish the job and cut it off? Has anyone ever seen this before? Does it help with balance? Can anyone give me an answer lol

What f stop did you use to get everything in sharp focus? I assume this is a manual lens. ps. nice video
@3rdmillenniumvideoproducti6542 ай бұрын
I usually try to stay above f4 depending on the amount of light in a room. The 15mm focal length stays in focus well for most situations. the only time it can be hard to get good focus is shooting wide open(f2) with this lens. outside daylight I would have the aperture around f8 to f16. Thanks for asking!

Does this work in Open Gate?
@3rdmillenniumvideoproducti6542 ай бұрын
Yes the lens works with no vignetting in open gate. you could use open gate but I shoot at 60fps and I think open gate limits you to 24 or 29fps? either way you can make it work just the same I would imagine. The resolution would be an improvement for sure and leave options for vertical aspect ratios. I might give it a try. Thanks!

Cast is a pain that most people don't want any part of. It can be challenging and thats probably why I like it. Im currently repairing the coolant part of a block. I told the guy with as bad as it was he probably had other cracks he just can't see and I can't make any promises. He said its worth a chance. Ive never seen so much corrosion and salt build up as his. Dirtiest I've ever worked on.
