@@boomdada. Hello. Chipset Intel H61 supports 2nd and 3rd gen ontel CPUs but I can not find if your specific PC actually supports it. Best way is to upgrade PC to the latest BIOS version (if not alerady) and put in the CPU and turn the PC on. Just wait some time up to a minute or two when you put in the new CPU.

Just checked, officially there are no BIOS updates for your PC. So just replace CPU when PC is turned off and turn it on to test.

I found a solution but on laptop fresh Firefox install it works but on desktop it changes all the folder icons. Do you know how I can set individual specific icons for individual specific bookmark folders on the bookmark toolbar? I have multiple different bookmark folders on my bookmark toolbar, and the bookmark folders are obviously all different from each other. That's why I would like each of the individual specific bookmark folders to have their own individual specific icons. Thanks for your help. Your videos are very clear.

This SSD does not have any heatsink where for example on my laptop I used metal plate as heatsink for both SSDs. You can get Lexar heatsink or just use what you want 😁.

Hello. No issues 😁. Overheating may be from improper cooler atachment, too thick thermal pads (if you used them)... something in those lines unless there is some kind damage... . Do not use laptop if it is owerheating issue needs to be found and resolved and then free to use.

Ah then probably thermal paste is dry so that is why it is overheating. Also clean the fans and cooler out of the dust. Just do it slowly and carefully and suggest you read the comments where are some good tips there.

Forgot to say, do not forget to put thermal pads or at least thermal paste on the VRM-s but if putting thermal pads it can not be too thick or too thin.

From a quick Google, people are saying paste is much better than pads for cooling, but not as long-lasting. I have the same problem as you do - 2016 G752 laptop just dies abruptly. I believe it's the GPU temperature which is up over 90 degrees if I edit video, or even jump around when viewing a video in VLC. It's odd because the Task Manager performance monitor often says the GPU is running at 0% but the temp climbs fast when doing anything with video. But encoding video can run at 30% GPU and the temp remains below 90 degrees. Maybe it's also the CPU running hot and bleeding heat to the GPU somehow. Connecting a 3rd monitor (I was running TWO external 4k 43" monitors for years - HDMI & DP) now causes the temp to climb until it shuts down. Weirdness.
