Thank you. By ‘intrigued’ by the partial capo do you mean you want to know more about it? I was thinking about creating a video to explain how to use it (most of what I’ve seen on KZbin doesn’t seem very helpful).

@@murraylaing531 Dear Sir: your music is not confined to the beautiful insides of a Dulcimer: it is deeply engrained in your heart, and brings forth relief from life's many sorrows. This you have in common with masters of the past. Music is the key, Sir, and you know how to use it truly & beautifuly. I shall search for the tune you mentioned, and will not fail to enjoy it. Many thousand thanks for your kindness in taking the trouble to answer me.

What tuning is each string of the dulcimer for this song? Thank you!
@murraylaing531
@murraylaing531 11 ай бұрын
AEa. It’s a baritone dulcimer, but the tuning is relatively the same as a ‘normal’ dulcimer in DAd. Same fingering; different key. Hope that helps.
@murraylaing531
@murraylaing531 11 ай бұрын
So sorry. I just realised this was played on my ‘ordinary’ McSpadden - which looks almost identical to the baritone one. So the tuning is just dAD. The only odd thing about it is that I bend some notes (guitar is my first language). Apologies again.
