Additional tips to this video: PH3 head is necessary for the big screws. At least for me, it was impossible to unscrew the big screws without a PH3 head and an electric screwdriver. And yes, the small screws are delicate, so hand screwdriver is a wiser choice for those. It was a fairly big challenge to disassemble and assemble again, for someone who never disassembled such devices before. It took a few hours. However there was one part that was especially difficult. That was the removal of the outer tire. I tried with many tools, but they just bent or broke. I even took the wheel to a bike shop and they also broke tools and couldn't help me. Also car repair shops did not have tools for this. So it was difficult to get the tire out. In the end, a friend of mine with lots of motorcycle repair experience was able to do it. It just requires the right kind of tools and a specific technique. In the video at 3:23 it looks so easy (although it skips the hard part), but it was really difficult without exactly the right tools and difficult for the bike shop even with similar tools as in the video.

Those big screws are not that easy!!! I swear I got to them tried as hard as I could for 30 minutes and not one of them budged. I then spent alot longer than necessary putting everything back together not knowing if my 18x3 tire would even work.

Does Inmotion manufacture poor quality products ? I bought a V8F 4 months ago. I rode it normally and even didn't jump kerbs. Then one day after pulling it down a kerb for a while, it shook strongly and the wheel was locked. This happened again next time and it said PLEASE REPAIR. I checked with the app and it displayed "mechanical failure". Why is it so easily malfunctioned ? Finally I have to pay an extra cost for the repair.

Thanks for the help. I put this off about 300 miles past where I pink wear indicator showing through the tire. I really didn’t want to replace the tire because I’m lazy, but it wasn’t too bad, also found a frayed ire insulation while I was at it so I taped it up. I’m used to road bike tires so the tire and tube seem heavy duty.

I have silicon on some connection inside?? What can i do

I ride the F and its my transportation in a small town. I just love it a I'm old so it took awhile to get my balance back but im vary sure footed now. Feels better to be getting better with age.

Hello, the Big Apple 16x2.0 tire you mounted how much kg can it bear?

I'm really not looking forward to doing this but I have no choice now. My tube leaked from new. Always flat within 3 days. Now the valve has broken off in the stem. So I am now forced to replace the tube. :(

Mine v5f wont tur on and the tire seem to be stoped like if it was with breacks. I opend it and i coulnd see any broken wirds so idk whta the problem . Also when i conect the mottor wires the wheel start to get stuck,
