Whoever chose the music for this movie is a genius. In this clip, the music is Prokofiev’s Lieutenant Kije Suite, which is awesome AND really evokes Russia. The movie also uses parts of the music for the film “Alexander Nevsky” (also by Prokofiev - I think).

This may be the dorkiest movie I've ever seen. It's embarrassing beyond words and I hope it's available on Blu-ray.

Great performances. From Geraldine and Maureen, and Sam Waterson and Mary Beth Hurt. But this last scene at the window… I feel like Allen just clobbered me with a Bergman baseball bat. It detracts.

Great songs but the film is just heavy-handed propaganda. All the Americans are portrayed as either unfeeling selfish monsters or idiots whilst Bjork the commie is innocent to the point of childishness. And I'm not some "yee-haw capitalism" type either.

Absolutely nostalgic , classic, magical whimsical..., christmansy in a good manner by the role tta he plays it, really magical, for me it is the role his life tho. No role of Johnny Deep is so Johnny as Edward.

2:23 - 2:33 “BLASPHEMY!!!” 😂 2:54 “My parents for dinner”? 3:08 Why is she eating her hair? PS: I wonder what an on-screen epilogue would be like with the sperm making their way through the woman to her ovaries?

I shouldn't have recommended this to my friends for our weekly movie to watch. Not because it's sad, but it's because Lars' work is just wasted to Björk mistreatment on the set. Fuck.

I am guessing after watching their minds work and producing similar incredible funny material, that Woody Allen and Larry David must be related somehow.
