I cant stop the tears..... I grew up with metal gear. Playing MGS1 in ps1 suddenly gave me flashbacks one day and that's when I realized I had a history with the franchise. I played metal gear on the NES as a kid in the 80s and it always stuck with me. As a teen playing MGS1 on psx I was entranced, only having played vr missions. The very next morning I bought my own copy of MGS1. I was forever changed. Onward to MGS2, in the PlayStation 2 era... I played the demo so many times. The demo disc that came with Hideo's other franchise. Zone of the Enders. I could not have been happier. When sequels and "next gen" actually meant something. However MGS2, while being amazing was greatly under appreciated even by me. But I learned the truth years later. MGS3. I just don't have the words. Absolute masterpiece. This entry to the series cemented its significance and was a masterclass in storytelling and just pure aesthetic and I just can not gush enough. MGS4.... I want to say "this one is special to me" but I would by lying.... Every game is special, exactly the perfect time when I needed it in my life. MGS4 is no different. Every stage of my life, Metal Gear was there, and MGS4 was exactly what I needed when it came around. It was beautiful in its own right. In more ways than I want to get into, or else I would be writing an entire thesis on why Metal Gear series has made me a better person each step of the way and even as an older man, still is relevant to this day. Metal gear rising... bro lol... wtf but I love it... I just cant go too much into it rn but if you know you know. MGSV... I did not beat it... I have been putting it off. It has been spoiled endlessly with all the Duran Duran invisible memes but omg... I am sorry. I did not give it the chance it deserved. It was a true metal gear game and I just did not try. I was upset with konami... I was sad for Kojima... but I just could not finish the story... I couldn't say good bye.... I'm crying while I type this.... but I get it and I am sorry Kojima. Perhaps I have been waiting for the perfect time in my life to close this chapter. I think that time is now. Thank you Kojima, Thank you Alexandre. I needed this video tonight.

Hello Alexandre, pls do you still have the video? Are you creator of this tribute? It appears to be deleted from the Vimeo ... and my world is suddenly broken 😭 I seriously need it very soon like a part of concert for children...

For years and years, I keep coming back for this video. As a fan of David Fincher, I'm so glad that I searched him on youtube and then discovered this in the first place. This video is one of the masterpieces of showing what great editing is and should be listed in textbook. I sincerely hope that the creators who made this would get paid for making it. But then, even price cannot show its true values.

When I first heard that "do you believe your sacrifice will change the world?" line, I desperately wanted Paz to respond "Maybe not...but it can change the man who will..." because that is the truth. Maybe the world will never know who she was or why she had to die, but her death did change the course of Big Boss's life forever and the world was changed because of his actions.
