In the age of smart phones and many always being connected to the internet, what Rick Mercer did can never be repeated. At least, unless the person he interviews is not tech savvy. A quick google search can dismiss Rick’s ridiculous claims, and a ChatGPT search can fact check the claim in more detail. Rick did this in the right era, entertaining us Canadians.

Interestingly, all of the Americans 🇺🇸 on this 📹 clip seem to unanimously agree with Rick when he suggests that America should bomb 💣 or send troops into anyone/ anywhere. I know there were lots of outtakes where ppl realized that this was a joke, but it's sad and hilarious 😂 nonetheless

Their debut album, then Rio, followed by Seven and the ragged tiger, was a killer progression of albums. They were at the peak of their popularity here. It was a great time to be an impressionable kid taking it all in as a fan.

The name of this series really annoyed me for a long while and if it had been _This Half Hour has _*_22_*_ Minutes_ I would have instantly recognized it as American network nightly "News". On the best of them, ABOUT 10 minutes of it is worthwhile.

Something about the brick walls at the school entrance is so 80's and really takes you back. Hughes really tapped into the high school mind of the 80's and captured it so well.

It was a great time to be alive when all of those amazing 80s bands hit the scene. I am right there with you Brother, but we experienced one of the best decades in music. I still want my MTV, just not the post reality era.

I am 56 years old and was the biggest Duran Duran fan as a teenager in the 80s. I have never seen this mini movie either! Wow! It was never released anywhere as far as I know!
