I have Fly fished that stream for many years off, and on that pool is created By people who construct these little dams which causes the fish in drought Years and in summertime to become stressed and the water Warms. but I commend you for picking up the garbage. If you want nicer pools, you must go further up the canyon. There was a time when there was no garbage, and the fish were plentiful. But those days are long behind us. There are parts of the West fork of the San Gabriel River that do not even meet EPA standards.

Not a secret anymore haha jk, gonna go visit these rock pools at SGR, i heard there is a bunch of them. Just got into natural spring water pools, really refreshing. I am into nature and dont litter, very kind of you to pick up trash along the way! I should do the same 😊
