Can this plant be planted near foundations are the roots big .. Thank you .

Why not grow the native variety, Ligustrum vulgare. Our wild privet is a much better option. Proper native shrub.🇬🇧

Few things I noticed here... Roots looked planted very deep so always check for a neck line, secondly the bone meal shouldn't touch the roots as it will burn them. also that ground looked quite soggy so check your species!

HI, I just ordered 2 Washington Hawthorne Crataegus phaenopyrum, and afterwards wondered if each tree is self polinating and thus I only needed to have 1 planted in my small garden area. I have googled this question but can't seem to find the answer. I hope that someone in this channel will know the answer. Thanks much. :)

@Best4hedgingCoUk2 жыл бұрын
Hi there! You don't need to wear gloves, but you can do if you like! And the leaves should be fine to compost. Hope this helps!

Bonjour I am looking for an option as an hedge / screen possibility. Would it be on your list of recommendations as @ low maintenance flowering option with @a maximum of 3 meter height and a dense look for helping privacy (forme haie)? ❤✌
@Best4hedgingCoUk2 жыл бұрын
Hi there! We've got a Low Maintenance Shrubs department, a lot of which are flowering or have berries. If you are specifically after flowering Laurel that's low maintenance, then we would say that Compact Laurel, (AKA Prunus 'Otto Luyken') might be more suitable of Portuguese Laurel, which grows a touch faster!
