I was a young kid who was and still is today head over heels in love with this club. But this day was the long drawn out spiral for this club and city and county. It was for many in the city a continuation for the planned downward spiral of Mrs Thatcher and the stigma painted on the town already red with blood lost to the 96 later 97 lost souls. As a club they thought for years to raise again. And would for years give glimpses of what they were in the 70's and early 80's. In doing so put some cheer back in Merseyside. After decades of hard work the police finally buckled under its lies and cover ups. Klopp gave us stability at the top of the league where we have always belonged. Mr John Henry we thank you for stepping in and buying our club and being a pillar of support. Some called for you to be gone but honestly thank you for making this club about the City of Liverpool and allowing it to thrive. In Slot we now trust. But most of all the 97 souls lost on that day. I will never forget and you will never walk alone.

This was played at my brothers funeral. He was a drug addict. I helped him all his life, but the drugs took him. He was never heavy, he was my brother.

Did Marty helped write this too? Sounds kinda like a Marty O'Donnell track. It's horrible how they treated that man. He deserved better.

Kia ora everyone, As a New Zealander, there are certain things in life that just touch your heart. Like so many others, i watched this match live and the images, tragedy that unfolded and powerlessness of people being unable to help.....is something you never forget. Whanau (families) lives being changed forever, lost friends and even strangers we never even knew ............imprints out hearts. I can say nothing that has not already been said. BUT, please know, even though we live on the other side of the world ......... This tragedy touched us deeply an we have nothing but Aroha (love & respect) for those who suffered and, no doubt, continue to suffer, to this day. As a Maori (Native New Zealander) all i can give you is the assurance that your loved ones are now back with their ancestors who who will love them until you meet again. KIa Kaha My friends and we share your grief and pain.... as does all of New Zealand. Big Jim ( Ngati Whatua tribe, Auckland) xxxxxxxxxxx

this was inspired by something that happened at Everton Football Club one night in a match V Newcastle united. to show solidaritary with neighbours Liverpool F.c. the two kids walked out in Everton and Liverpool shirts holding hands (as shown depicted in the video) the music 'He ain't heavy He's my Brother' originally by 'the HOLLIES' Blared out to thunderous applause all around. i was there and will never forget it. they went on to get artists together and re-create the moment by making this wonderful re-make of the 'Hollie's' masterpiece. well done Everton and God bless 97 as it stands now who died.

I remember that I actually taped the abridged six part TV version that was first screened on ITV in 1995 and I later bought the full ten hour version on VHS and DVD. I also bought the 'Free As A Bird' and 'Real Love' singles (and ALL three volumes of 'The Anthology') on CD, Cassette and Vinyl and I even got the official tie-in book of the same name in both hardback and paperback editions. What's more, I still have them all in my collection at home to this day. As you can probably tell, I do quite like those releases. 😀

It's rude to try and pass other people's videos off as your own. One of these belongs to Josh Ragsdell, another to Nunupics Zomot. Not cool, bro. If you're going to steal other people's video, at least give them the credit.
