What happened to Juan Carlos Navarro? He played one season, 82 games played with double-digit points, and that was it. No one was gonna sign him? 🤔

Well, good defense for 3 consecutive possessions by Kwame. Maybe not a #1 draft pick, but a legitimate NBA player.

I’ve always loved the Laker commentators. Unlike some teams’ commentators, they make sure most of their commentary & judgement towards the game isn’t biased to their home channel team the Lakers & it shows at the end when Lowry gets fouled

Kwame had legitimate talent--he wouldn't have been the top high school player in the country otherwise--but he was horribly immature and undisciplined. I think he was used to coasting in high school ball and never really understood that he'd have to put hard work and effort into his game once he was a pro. If he had done that, he'd probably be remembered as a respectable player.

Hawks went further in the playoffs with a cocaine addict (John Drew) than they ever did with Wilkins. And...people need to know John Drew is the third greatest scorer in NBA history based on points per minute. Dominique is #4

Please tell me you're not comparing John Drew to Nique.......please.
@cschoen100
@cschoen100 8 жыл бұрын
+Tim L Not comparing them. Drew threw away a very good career because of drugs. He doesn't deserve to be in the Hall but take a look at their career stats. Very comparable. And the Hawks did go further in the playoffs with Drew than they ever did with Wilkins. Yeah, I know...Drew personally didn't do shit. Bob Dandridge owned him
@s001til
@s001til 8 жыл бұрын
Lol. Ok, I'm with you. Yea, Nique couldn't get deep in the playoffs, but I feel its more attributable to the Pistons & especially Celtics being loaded at that time. Drew reminds me of Len Bias, sad stories.

+Tim L I always thought Wilkins got screwed in that dunk contest that Jordan won But, Jordan was pretty spectacular that day too. After Doc, Drew was my favorite player because that's when WTBS showed every Hawks game! I was in Junior High when we got it. I always liked his game, but he was definitely a head case. True story, I was going to college in Portland and went to see Utah play. Watched Jazz players come out of the arena and only like four of them (Griffith, Dantley, Eaton I remember) got on the bus. Everybody else went their own way. Anyway, Drew was 1-10 for like 3 points.He looked like shit coming out of the arena,signed my autograph and he rolled out into the night with Mychal Thompson. Out of the league for good a few nights later when they were in GS. Never forget it

Oh yeah, my 1A and 1B all time fav's were Nique & Magic. Im 43 yrs old, so I loved watching Nique vs Jordan on WTBS or WGN. The Hawks were exciting back then. Should have never broke them up after the 88 shootout between Nique and Bird. Bringing in Theus, Moses, later Jon Koncak set them back. Doc Rivers played hard, so he was my guy too.

'Nique was a great player, no doubt. But, I'm gonna give John Drew some props. Points per minute, Drew was the third most prolific scorer in NBA history. #4?.....Dominique Wilkins
